Getting married in 4 weeks and I feel like I should be doing more beauty wise.

I feel like I should be having facials?

I mean it's all a bit ridiculous but what do other brides do.

I've booked an appointment with my hairdresser the day before and I'm growing my nails.

It's not my main wedding that's later in the year but I feel I should put a bit more effort in.

I like Gelish nails but after all the effort of growing my thin weak nails within a few months of having the Gelish I'm back to thin weak nails that flake off.

Might just keep them ( if I can with a 0.5 mm free edge)

Tbh I wouldn't start facials a month before just in case you hav any reaction. I would stick with you current routine, just maybe incorporate a weekly exfoliate, or night cream?

When I got married I had my eyelashes permed and tinted and had a couple of manicures inc shellac but it ruined my nails so wouldn't do it again.

I would avoid facials, just stick to your usual routine to avoid any reactions/breakouts ect!
For my wedding (November '14) I had my eyebrows waxed, brows and lashes tinted and gel polish for fingers and toes I've had it every 2weeks since then (now do it myself) and my nails are better/stronger than before.

Yes, I wouldn't try anything new on your face with only 4 weeks to go.

I would say try to drink plenty of water, regular body exfoliating and moisturising, daily cuticle oil and hand cream, intensive hair conditioner and keep out of the sun to avoid sunburn/strap lines.

Thanks, I'm glad I don't have to bend myself like a pretzel to be wedding ready.

This is my first wedding and my dress is just sleeveless so shouldn't be a problem, the second one I will need to wear wall to wall boob tube sundresses!

Am drinking more water. I don't wear eye make up but someone mentioned boots 30 day mascara.

Do you literally only apply once and it stays put for 30 days.

Am a Bit naive when it comes to stuff like that.

The boots 30day one is a bit of a faff and I'm not too keen on the results, much prefer s salon finish. I think it lasts 2weeks then starts to fade out.
