Got a lovely surprise today clothing wise

I'd seen this dress on ebay by Numph, reduced by 80%. Olive and black, sheer knit with a tie waist that sort of look like sleeves, anyway loved it, bought it, and it arrived yesterday. First thing I see is a lovely white same knit poncho top, with lovely lace detailing at the top- and think "damn, they've mixed up my order. Underneath wrapped in pink tissue was my dress, which I love. Anyway, totally confused I was about to email the seller when I read my paypal receipt which said "hope you enjoy your free gift, Shona xx". It had a £30 tag on it! How lovely was that? I emailed her and thanked her profusely of course.

On another matter, I'm off on holiday for ten days,and have an American Tourister Spinner the one with four wheels, so easy to push with my overpacking issues! So, I bought some of those vacuum bags to flatten stuff down. Tried on last night and it wouldn't stay flat after the air had been taken out- it has an opening at one end with like two lines of freezer bag rails that clip together, and a clip that slides along, which I THINK are supposed to help seal it. I also bought a pump to remove the air at the other end coming home after my smart pal pointed that one out. Has anyone used these and know what I'm doing wrong? They weren't cheap and I will be really annoyed if they don't work!
