Any tips to make it swift and effective?

Realise I may have left it a bit late as there's a supposed heat wave coming hmm but it must be done!

I wear some snug fitting socks on top to make sure the Footner socks are next to all parts of my feet (they seem a bit baggy on my small feet). Don't keep them on for more than an hour !

THanks, tight fitting socks
Think I'll give it a go tonight

Me too fairy

I am on day 5 - biggest tip I can give is to soak, soak and soak to speed it up. My feet are totally hideous at the mo - flaking and peeling away!! First few days I thought it wasn't working as they just felt dry but on day 4 the magic started

PseudoBadger Sun 31-May-15 21:37:47

Think I've fucked up as I soaked my feet before I put the socks on? The instructions were a bit ambiguous about when soaking was beneficial.

PenguinsandtheTantrumofDoom Sun 31-May-15 21:48:57

No idea. But I'd had a bath before I did mine. Day 5. Only peeling is where there is no hard skin anyway - little toe and side of one foot. Very disappointed so far.

I'm in the midst of peeling. I did mine post bath last Saturday night and peeling started 5 days later. Now my feet are a complete mess of dry flaky skin!

FairyBiker Sun 31-May-15 22:13:10

I wasn't sure about the soaking but, whether they meant before or after. probably should have looked it up but its late and I could be be bothered to soak my feet first.

Am about to wash it off.
Are you going to skin socks? It's a bit warm for that I'm not sure what to do

lurkingmurking Sun 31-May-15 22:15:24

Put Vaseline on the tops of your feet. Soak soak soak, or even better go for a swim. I wish I'd taken pics, mine were epic. I couldn't resist picking though! For the first time in years the balls of my feet and the backs of my big toes aren't take minging yellow colour.

PseudoBadger Sun 31-May-15 22:37:09

Just took them off. Good luck!

Couldashouldawoulda Mon 01-Jun-15 09:37:50

Nah...leave it on for 2 hours!

PenguinsandtheTantrumofDoom Mon 01-Jun-15 09:38:58

I left mine on for 2 hours damn it. Still not peeling. Day 6

lurkingmurking Mon 01-Jun-15 12:09:20

Penguins go swimming - seriously!

I must also admit that I slept in mine

PenguinsandtheTantrumofDoom Mon 01-Jun-15 12:13:28

I could splash about in the toddler pool with DS tomorrow. grin

PenguinsandtheTantrumofDoom Mon 01-Jun-15 12:13:55

Or is it too late? Do I need to re footner?confused

FairyBiker Mon 01-Jun-15 21:38:47

oh poo, I only left it on for an hour. Hope it still works.

I'll give them a soak tomorrow, or should I do it tonight?

PseudoBadger Mon 01-Jun-15 22:33:44

Don't be sorry for following the instructions wink

FairyBiker Wed 03-Jun-15 08:35:04

Any peeling yet badger or penguin ?
I sat with my feet in a baking tray of water yesterday to help it along.

PenguinsandtheTantrumofDoom Wed 03-Jun-15 11:35:10

A week on, loads of peeling. Unfortunately only on toes and instep, not any of the areas with hard skin. I don't know if that will be slower or it just isn't up to my hooves! I'm not seeing any improvement that couldn't have been achieved with a few nights sleeping in lots of moisturiser and socks yet.

PseudoBadger Wed 03-Jun-15 12:50:17

Nothing yet Fairy, I've kept the plug in when I shower so kind of a soak!

PseudoBadger Thu 04-Jun-15 17:55:42

I have some peeling!

PenguinsandtheTantrumofDoom Thu 04-Jun-15 18:55:52

Day 9. Masses of peeling. Some on heels. Will update.grin

ovumahead Thu 04-Jun-15 18:58:25
