please help - spray tan gone wrong

I had a spray tan 3 days ago, which looked great, but two days before I had it done I got a bit of sun burn on my chest.
Fast forward to today and the sunburnt areas are now peeling leaving me with white patches.
How can I
A) get rid of the remaining spray tan so the colour difference isn't so bad
And
B) stop anymore peeling.
And yes I know I was stupid for getting burnt in the first place
Please help

Exfoliate all over and moisturize lots!

  1. Get in the bath / have a long hot shower
  2. Exfoliate while you're in there - be really gentle on the sunburnt peely bit, but the water softening up your skin will probably help a lot and you won't have to scrub too hard
  3. Get out and rub yoursrlf all over with a rough towel while still wet. I have never had a better exfoliator than a rough towel!
  4. Moisturise
  5. Moisturise
  6. Moisturise

Also you can get fake tan removal wipes from chemists too, can try that

Thankyou so much!
I Will exfoliate and use a rough towel, then lots of after sun and moisturiser.
If that doesn't help I will see if I can find the wipes.

Just a quick update,
The peeling has spread, a lot, but I guess that was inevitable.
The fake tan is fading slowly, so hopefully once the tan has faded and the peeling has stopped I will look a bit more even.
Lesson well and truly learnt.
Thankyou for your help, I'm feeling for hopeful this morning Smile
