I bought footner dupes off eBay. They have hundreds of excellent reviews. Didn't come with instructions so I just left them on for 3 hours and then waited. That was 3 weeks ago. At first absolutely nothing happened but in the last week my feet are a MESS. They are all dry and scaly and cracked. Like really really awful. They weren't that bad to begin with I just fancied giving the footner a go since we're off on hols next month. I've tried coating them with coconut oil and wearing socks overnight but nothing happened. I don't really have time to soak them but will have to I suppose. I run 5km every second night and my feet get quite sweaty but still no difference to the skin!

I bought the soap & glory foot file today. Have never used a foot file before and there are no instructions on it! Which side do I use first? Is there anything else I should be using/doing? My feet honestly look a nightmare ?

if the skin isn't likely to peel and drop off then file and cream with flexitol heel balm , high urea content will help

Don't give up yet!!Have you tried soaking them? If not pop them in a bowl of warm water for 15 mins or take a bath. I despaired at this stage too but suddenly they began to peel. (Gross but funGrin )

Nothing to peel really just lots of cracking. I went at them with the foot file and will cover in flexitol overnight. Pics attached sorry for the grossness! Other foot is exactly the same. By the way, it is almost impossible to take a photo of your own foot!! I think I've pulled something in my neck in the process Confused

Just finished the whole footner process for the first time and this is the second day of being able to finally moisturize. My feet looked exactly the same as your picture, but it was only when I started soaking them that the peeling really began. They felt so dry that I could feel my feet snagging on my carpet! I have been soaking them for 20 minutes in the evening while watching TV. They would then be really dry and cracked again the following morning.

Day 1: footner treatment
Days 2-4: nothing
Day 5: extremely dry and cracked feet
Days 6 to 10: soaking feet for 15 minutes, immediate peeling when removing them from the water but no moisturizing yet.
Day 11: peeling almost stopped, soaking at night then popping on some socks over night.

Basically they felt like crap until I started moisurising them. Hope that helps.
