Flared jeans - yes or no? Help needed for the fashion unconscious before lunch today!

Hi All

I'm completely clueless when it comes to fashion, but am going out for lunch today for my birthday.

I looked in my wardrobe and realised the only things in there are work clothes and a couple of ratty looking dresses. I delved a bit further back and found an old pair of flared jeans. They still fit and if I say so myself, they do my legs a lot more favors than skinnies. So, I'm thinking of pairing them with a fitted top and some seventies style platform sandles to complete the seventies look.

But, would that be a complete fashion faux-pas? I've heard flares are coming back, but not seen anyone wearing them of late. Opinions welcome! [Thanks]

Yes, flares are indeed back for the summer, infact many of the 70's staples are. So if you have a tan suede skirt, boho blouse etc dig those out as well. Boho chic is definately back!

Excellent! I'll go with those then. These are from the last incarnation of flares about 5-7 years ago (?), but love the 70s look. I'm just a hippie at heart
