And what you look like in those clothes... ( you have to do a google pic - a like)

Probably Dash or Bonmarche

FunkyPeacock Sat 16-May-15 13:59:58

I have no intention of trying on any clothes from either of the above to find out how shit I would look - I know what I need to know from the windows displays!

I think (apart from obvious ones that are for teenagers) it would be WHite Stuff or Joules.

I HATE their stuff. Drippy primary school teacher ware.

Bon Marche (hadn't realised they were still around!)
Primark (ethics, not just quality)
Chanel (dull as arseholes).

Bon Marche. (My MIL's favourite shop!)

Cos - I like some of their stuff (my favourite jumper ever is from there) but most of is far too long and droopy for me. I'd have to just buy black tops and wear them as mini dresses.

Next - I honestly can't remember the last time I bought anything in there, but it is at least a dozen years ago.

Wallis - garishly printed polyester and everything far too long and big for me

Zara - I just haven't got the patience to search through rows and rows of tat in the hope of finding one or two nice things. H&M ditto.

Gap - all I could wear from there is denim mini skirts and the occasional cotton top.

Mantaray at Debenhams - I would have to kill myself, frankly.

Bon marche would just make people assume you were skint. Really expensive but awful would be worse because it would look like a deliberate style choice!

Muskey Sat 16-May-15 14:23:56

Pri mark, Bon marche, to max

Fat Face - I'd look like a mad cat lady in it.

mrsdavidbowie Sat 16-May-15 14:25:13

Pauls Boutique

Skinheadmermaid Sat 16-May-15 14:28:18

Somewhere like Boden or Next. Just not my taste at all.

SwedishEdith Sat 16-May-15 14:30:10

M&S apart from knickers.

HelenF350 Sat 16-May-15 14:50:24

Zara, my boobs never fit in anything in there blush

afink Sat 16-May-15 14:56:06

Jane Norman - so incredibly tacky.

EuphemiaCoxton Sat 16-May-15 15:03:16

Juicy Couture

MaryMotherOfCheeses Sat 16-May-15 15:06:20

Fat Face, Mantaray, White Stuff.

I think I'd die of boredom.

CocoaBeans Sat 16-May-15 15:08:58

Bon Marche and Peacocks - but at least they look cheap so people know you are poor rather that being expensive and therefore a style choice.

New look.
TK crap. Sorry max.

Actually never ever bought from them.

CoconutAmericano Sat 16-May-15 15:27:57

Next. I find their clothes depressingly drab.

Nevergoingtolearn Sat 16-May-15 15:32:11

Hate most high street shops, don't like;
Dorothy P's
New look

I like next but rarely buy clothes for myself as the whole world seems to be wearing it ( I don't want to look like everyone else ).

Hollister, if I could actually fit into anything, I would look like a twat, the look may work for a Calafornian super model Mum dressing down but not for middle aged me, pale and haggard looking.
