40ish?

Why can you not dye your hair for 4 months? Confused
Being pregnant does not mean you cannot dye hair.

I don't remember the exact time but I started dying my hair when I was 18 so I think it was around then. I'm 44 now and have always just dyed it a chocolatey brown colour. All fine until the last time I dyed it and I had a reaction where my hair started to fall out, not previous incidents. I'm trying to decide whether to go grey or to risk one of the natural hair dyes you can buy on the internet. I'm not touching the chemically stuff ever again.

  1. Am now 38 and still haven't done anything about it. Nobody else seems to have noticed yet - or if they have, they're being polite enough not to comment.

I am 42 now and, without dye, would be completely grey.
I didn't stop dyeing my hair in any of my pregnancies. Is this new advice or something I just missed at the time?

I'm 34 and I've just started getting some-a few behind each ear and a couple in my fridge. I freaked out when I first found them and wanted to dye my hair straight away but my hairs so thin and weak (caused by medication I'm on that I can't stop) that I think it'll just damage it and look worse.

Dh'a got a shed load of grey and he's not bothered. I think I'll just see how it goes as I get more. I remember my mum asking me if she should start covering the grey and I said no, she didn't and she's really pleased now as she's in her 60's and a lot of her friends are now growing out the colour or struggling to maintain their roots.

I'm 27 now and have quite a few! I've noticed them for the past 3/4 years now

  1. All the women on my dad's side went grey early. My sister isn't grey yet and is 32 (although she's strawberry blond so maybe its harder to spot...)

Am 38 and just last week one odd grey wire appeared. I just plucked it out and pretended it hadn't existed. An extensive search turned up no more.

First grey hair - 22, on the morning of my wedding day! But still married nearly 25 years later with too many grey hairs to count now

24... im getting the classic streaks either side of my fringe... I occasionally dye them but I'm not overly fussed by them. Although I was when they first came in.

I am 37 and none yet. Before you call me smug, I have many, many other age related 'things', that not having any grey yet is the very least I deserve Grin

My hairdresser found three when I was 38, I still haven't recovered from the shock.

I'm 40 and haven't found any yet.

Which actually might say more about the state of my eyesight.
