Silly old footner face

My face has been feeling really bunged up. I have lots of under the surface spots that I can't pick.

I used footner on my feet a couple of weeks ago, and wished that I could do the same on my face...

So tonight I wiped my face with the insides of the spare footners, I didn't wrap it, so I could feel the alcohol in it evaporate.

Then I left the residue on for an hour, and washed it very carefully.

I am expecting to peel in the next week or two and have a perfect complexion.

No I'm not pulling your legs, I did this. I would not make this up.

It stang until the alcohol wore off and then it felt like nothing.

I promise to let you know, and to wear sunscreen.

Are you actually shitting us?

You saw what that stuff did to your feet and thought "wow I must rub this all over my face"?

I'm surprised it wasn't burning like a motherbitch!

Totally off-topic but I love the word "stang"!

Wow.

You do realise that your face is going to fall off op. Shock

This could be cystic acne- I have had outbreaks before- it's hormone driven and really annoying because you can't pick spots and it gets worse and worse. However you can get treatment for it which doesn't involve peeling your face off!

You might need to stay indoors for a week Confused

Shock here too.

You realise Footner is to dissolve the protein 'bridges' that hold hard calloused skin together?
Whatever your bumps under the skin are, hard skin they are likely NOT.

Having said that, I suspect nothing much is actually going to happen Grin

You can't "get at" those cystic spots under the skin. Well, an actual cyst can be lanced (and that should be done by a dermatologist or something, not at home with a sewing needle.)

If you want to exfoliate the skin for general glowiness, then you can use glycolic acid products made for the purpose.

I'm sure I read that calamine lotion was the thing for such spots.

Christ, I won't even use footner on my feet because it freaks me out!

You need a good acid toner for your face, not bloody footner!!

Something designed to burn old hard calloused foot skin off is not something I would want near my face. I hope it doesn't do any damage.

Well I put sunscreen SPF 50 on this morning.

Nothing has happened so far.

When I did my feet the tops peeled a bit after four days, then the soles between seven and nine, so I wouldn't expect anything quite yet.

I've got a big night out on Saturday so I hope I don't look like my face is falling off then.

I will get some calamine lotion, I already use an acid toner.

Also when a quick google of 'footner on face' suggests no one else has done it (or they have and not admitted to it on the internet) you know you're in interesting water...

I am tempted to use Footner on my feet but a bit worried about dealing with the peeling. Can't believe you put it on your face especially if you have a big night out coming. Will watch the thread in sick fascination...
