Lasting pedicure for the summer!?

I have acrylic finger nails and love them, but would like to have something done on my toes for the summer.

Does anyone know what I can have?

Obviously I don't need fake tips on them-but I'd like a permanent sort of varnish that won't chip and doesn't need redoing for a few weeks. Does such a thing exist!?

Shellac is great, lasts a good 4 - 6 weeks doesn't chip. Thoroughly recommend, I pay £20 and have a mobile technician come to me. You should really get it professionally removed, needs acetone and hurts like a bugger if you try to soak and scrape yourself!

Yes to gels. I had it on during pregnancy when I could no longer reach my toes!

Shellac, also known as Gellish (the opi brand) is brill. The place that does your acryllics should be able to do it. Its like the acryllic process but without the stick on bits -ie they bake the varnish on with ultra-violet lights. I use it for my hands too - so much nicer than the feeling of extentions I find, and my nail underneath is healthier than its ever been without all the scraping.

Another recommendation for shellac. Makes for a slightly strange pedicure because they do the polish first, dry it with the little UV machine that you pop your toes into, and then do all the massaging and stuff. I love it though. Lasts so long and stays very shiny.
