A belly

I've developed a little paunch/pouch in the form of a belly. There's no disguising it, not even magic knickers (they just roll under it). Can I still wear a tight skirt? It's a lovely skirt but I do not have a flat belly anymore .

Yes, of course you can. I'm assuming it fits well? If the skirt isn't lined then do consider wearing a slip (like granny used to) or having it lined, makes all the difference.
