CACI facials

Anyone had these and noticed a difference?
I recently lost weight and being mid 40 s it's made my face lose all youthfulness.

I'm toying with the idea of fillers but noticed these in my local beauty spa.

Anyone had a course of these? It's quite pricey at over £700.

I would love to try CACI but will have to save up. By which time it may be too late!
Don't have the guts for fillers, so can't help u there. Not sure I'd be comfortable with them.

I'm interested in anything that works but doesn't cost the earth really!

CACI sounds good but does it work? It's a lot of money. You have to go twice a week for 5 weeks then have monthly treatments.

I'd love to hear from anyone who has used it and seen an improvement.

Microdermabrasion will do nothing for plumpness. Caci is ok but I've never seen a big improvement. I had an endermologie (sp?) facial last week and I have to say, I saw a definite plumping up. It didn't last unfortunately but I'm going to go back for a few more.

I've had couple of sessions but it's something you need to keep up. Not worth it IMO.

Cacis ok...but if you have the one with the wrinkle comb, it hurts like fuck.
And I have a high pain threshold...Brazilian waxes don't bother me or epilators.
Does it make a difference? Well people comment on my skin and I'm 55.

Just googled the wrinkle comb facial and it looks really interesting. Can you tell more Next? Which bit hurts? It is like laser?

Wrinkle comb facial does look good. Will need to research.

The wrinkle comb us this bastard thing which is inserted in your skin to boost the collagen. It feels like lots of needles going in...especially painful on the lip line.
I've had laser and microdermabrasion, which don't hurt. I stopped the latter as I get roseacea sporadically and find it aggravated it.
I am on a caci course at the moment....paid £620 for ten sessions. I have them every four to six weeks, and a Dermalogica facial every four.

Would I book another course? Not at the moment as my divorce settlement does not take Caci into consideration.
Love my facials....will never give those up.

I think a lot depends on beautician.. I've gone to the same woman for 20 years.

Look at some of the gatineau products qvc sellthem. But they are a major player in France, she bought two of the wrinkle correctors and i can tell you are 4weeks ofusing the creamsnetc the wrinkles have smoothed out and the plumpness is comingback with the collagen in the product. Not bad for 44 pounds for 2 and they last 2 months ish each!
No idea about micro dermbrasation (sp)but also you could have a chemical peel?

I have the same problem but have heard that CACI only works as long as you use it - a bit like the results of a 'lifting and plumping' facial.

My dermatologist recommended I get cheek filler to plump up the crows feet area and the 'apple' and this in turn would lift the jowls that are rapidly forming and turning my jaw line to mush.

He also said that the new thread lift may be worth considering but I've seen too many horror stories where they are concerned so I'd have to investigate further.

I have had the caci ultimate facials. Did a course of ten but didn't keep them up. Did another course and am having one monthly. I'm 51 in May but keep getting told I don't look it. For me the caci is to help stay as I am as long as I can rather than look unlined etc now.

I had Botox and fillers last year - wasn't overly keen on the fillers but it did all make me look fresher.

The guy who did my Botox etc works out of salon where I have caci and I also know him socially and I aske him about them - he said they are good but won't take the place of fillers or Botox.

cider what did you not feel keen about with the fillers? Did you see any difference after your caci course of ten?vhow much did you pay? How long was each session?

frosty that's what I would want from fillers, more rounded cheeks and less jowly , bit scared to go down that route tho. Once you start I think it would be hard to stop. Also £££. What's a thread lift?

SoOver - I wasn't keen on the feeling of actually having something IN my face. It does improve the look of the line going down either side of the nose but not enough for me to want to do it again just yet!

I think I saw a difference after the Cacis. Certainly people commented that they could see a difference. But it is hard to really judge. I meant to take a before and after photo but forgot! I can't remember exactly what I paid. £675 for ten I think. Each session is around an hour. They don't do the microdermabrasion each time - just each second one.

Seriously considering the CACI facials now I'm in my mid thirties but a bit put off by the price. If they work I'd be prepared to save for them though it would be more a once a year thing for a course of ten at those prices.

Had my CACI today. It was quite relaxing but made my fillings hurt a bit. Did anyone else get that? And metallic taste which is still there a bit.

Skin looks the same to me.

Still deciding whether to go for a course or not.

Yes, makes fillings hurt a bit but not unbareable. I'm 43 now and I think only surgery is going to help now.

CACI & microdermabrasion can be done at a salon in a college. Fraction of the price.

Im surprised that many don't use them often enough!

Mid face filler is a must and sometimes good at the temples
It is explained that the rest of the face heads south with the loss of volume in the cheeks as we age
Decent filler helps massively
