Are there any shampoos or such that can lighten blonde hair?

There are various blonde shampoos and sprays that do this, but in the end they are all peroxide - the hair will have to be bleached to go lighter.

You might be better off using one of the better hairdyes, and looking after the condition of her hair.

Or, taking her for professional highlights. I'm uberblonde and my little sister isn't. When her hair darkened, she came with me and had a few lighter highlights put through. I'd briefed the hairdressers before, and they gushed over how lovely her hair colour was. It really boosted her confidence. Is she young enough that that might work?

I only suggest it because if it's going to darken, her choices will be to learn to love it or to dye it forever, and constant dying will ruin her hair eventually, however well she does it.

My DD is quite blonde but we boost it in summer with a John Freida spray.
Not really going to work in February in the uk though but worth bearing in mind.
