Lardylassnomore Wed 04-Feb-15 20:03:45 The 80's have called they want their clothes back...

headlesslambrini Wed 04-Feb-15 20:05:07

Oh dear. I have no idea who would wear that.

Lardylassnomore Wed 04-Feb-15 20:11:29

It's part of the Autograph range too!

I popped into m&s today, it was honestly the worst collection of clothes under one roof I've ever seen. How do they keep going? I predict they'll be the next big shop to go under.

Primadonnagirl Wed 04-Feb-15 20:14:59

It's a bit Kate?

dexter73 Wed 04-Feb-15 20:38:17

There was a lot of very bright pink when I went in today. Made my eyes hurt.

AliceInHinterland Wed 04-Feb-15 20:41:21

They have got it all wrong, the fabrics, the colours and the design. Why don't they just aim to do really good quality basics? Their home & food stuff are really good, their children's stuff is lovely, underwear obviously a national icon, it would be such a shame if they went under.

BestIsWest Wed 04-Feb-15 20:42:49

It's out of stock in lots of sizes so clearly someone likes it.

FestiveRoad Wed 04-Feb-15 20:43:16

100% polyester with 100% polyester lining too!

100% of reviewers (1) would recommend it to a friend.

Quangle Wed 04-Feb-15 20:45:55

That's very odd. Frumpy and yet cut too short. Would suit older lady who likes flashing quite a lot of leg whilst wafting about in unnecessary chiffon.

Behooven Wed 04-Feb-15 20:48:13

I've got a 25% off voucher which I'm struggling to use

They have really lost their way these days. I struggled to spend a £10 voucher in there last week and ended up buying two teen bras for DD.

Behooven Wed 04-Feb-15 21:05:17

Sorry bigblack it's connected to my a/c for a birthday promotion.

mowglik Wed 04-Feb-15 21:09:26

I actually like it- Think I'm the wrong age for it now but could totally imagine wearing that!

candykane25 Wed 04-Feb-15 22:33:38

I can see what they were aiming for but got lost badly.
If it were a blouse, fine for work or dark indigo jeans.
If it were longer it would be a Margaret thatcher secretary dress.
If the neck were lower it might work with skinnies or jeggings.
But it looks very awkward to wear as it is.

The 80s have called and they want their clothes back

Oi !
I was very much an 80s chick and even I wouldn't wear that wink

PolkadotsAndMoonbeams Wed 04-Feb-15 23:04:49

The one I went in today had a lot of apple green. I wondered if they'd put the staff uniforms out for sale by mistake...

rockybalboa Wed 04-Feb-15 23:05:39

It's very Duchess of Cambridge inspired! And not in a good way...

hauntedhenry Thu 05-Feb-15 08:04:49

That's just wrong.

KikitheKitKat Thu 05-Feb-15 09:29:57

I like it! (Apart from the massive bow) blush

KikitheKitKat Thu 05-Feb-15 09:31:00

I AM an older lady though so I guess that's OK!

shins Thu 05-Feb-15 09:57:20

Not sure about Kate, more like Princess Di circa 1985 - what are they thinking?!

And teeth are hurting just looking at it
