So I have been using the day and night creams and I don't think they are agreeing with me.

My t zone is red and extremely dry

Its either the cream or the weather.

Anyways, anyone have any good (cheap) recommendations for a nice soft cream for dru(ish) sensitive skin. Am willing to pay up to £20ish.

I have really sensitive skin prone to dryness - I use No 7 creams. I usually buy when they are on offer 2 for the price of three.

I really like Beautiful Skin day cream which is only about £12, it comes in a dry and extra dry version. I have also tried 'lift and luminate' cream which is about £20 and have the night cream for that.

I would happily spend double the cost for a cream that my skin likes but I don't have to because these work for me - good value I think, especially the beautiful skin range.

I just noticed that I have 'restore and renew' day cream as well which also suits my skin.

thanks Lavendersun

Are they more gentle than the No7 protect creams?

Im odd like that - if one doesnt agree with me I get wary of the entire range

I think that the Beautiful Skin cream is the most gentle of the three I have, not sure why I have the others (mad moment perhaps), the others smell more I think but they are all hypo allergenic, but so is simple which makes me come out in a rash.

If you go to a big Boots they might let you try it/have samples.

I bought some Time Delay serum and eye cream in a roller ball tube (they were half price)

My favourite is Soap and Glory in the silver tube or cylindrical silver pump.

Why not try usung your No7 on one half of your face and something else on the other half - then if you still get the redness, you know it's the weather and you can put them away till later.
If you get the red on the No7 side, you know it's the cream.

I am skint at the moment as Im not working so took a chance on Aldi Lacura serums. Now usually I will buy No 7, Body Shop or Estee Lauder Night Repair serum if I am feeling plush, but this Aldi stuff is incredible and because its such great value I slather it on my neck and chest too. Im buying mine in Australia and its the renew serum...in a glass bottle. Great stuff.
