Oh my goodness, a new thread already!
karbea I'm going to get some testers next week for our living room. I want some kind of neutral but not sure whether I want white, taupe or grey. I'm waiting for a quote on the fireplace and wood burner and the final quote on the damp proofing and then we can see if there's enough cash for new sofas. After umming and aching about wood v carpet, we've decided to do carpet. Again some kind of neutral and I need to go and look next week.
shop oh no, will the trip possibly not happen...? All sounds v stressful.

I am in severe pain tonight, I can tell it's going to be a long and mostly sleepless night. Pinterest here I come. On a more serious note, I'm going to ask to be referred to one of the pain clinics in London, one where they are actually doing research into my condition. Even if they can't help me, maybe I can help other people through what i can tell the doctors and show to them. 18 years now I've had this, 18 long years

thanks lib pinterest helps a lot surprisingly, all the pretty pictures and cute animals help distract me from the pain long enough that I can get breif snatches of being comfortable i'll put some good music on and browse until I get tired enough to sleep through the rest of the night

Dh and I have agreed on the summer holiday! Weirdly, he's agreed to the luxury hotel. I found one holiday, then found another which was like 1/3rd more but was telling him as an fyi and he said "Yes let's go with that one". I don't understand. He's also agreed to fly with Thomas Cook. I am booking it tomorrow before he changes his mind! Now back to the long haul Easter conversation!

I am now beginning to book in work travel too. 5 long hauls and 2 short hauls between mid Feb and mid June. Dh also has 3 long hauls in that period. It's been 2 months of bliss not travelling!

Karbea I agree with The Santa . I'd wait until you've chosen more do a pin board before deciding. That or paint it cream for now. When I do a room I always start with fabrics and then work out, but that's just me, I adore furnishings.

I meant to say I thought the copy of my ring that What found was terrific. How good it is as a copy, depends on how shiny it is. my one is quite sparkly.

dry yes In a perfect world we'd do that but the damp needs fixing, it looks really bad, so no real option. It's only paint so when I get new curtains etc I can paint it again.

I've spent 2 days sketching & obviously haven't stretched enough since my neck started to spasm in my ballet class tonight . Holy crap it hurts! On a positive note tho' it has been a wonderful indulgence sketching Alexander McQueen gowns for inspiration...every cloud & all that!

DH told me last night his first work trip abroad is now for 3 weeks its a great opportunity for him but never been for away for so long.
We had some more snow overnight so sensible boots and warm socks for travelling nicer shoes in bag for the office.

karbea I've chosen a limestone fireplace, just really simple and plain. I won't finalise wall colours until that's in place and I know whether we can get a new sofa. I just love trying out new tester pots! I need to look at curtains too.
