I was SURE I saw that advised on here but now I can find nothing of the sort. Two days later and my feet have serious raw patches. According to the instructions the peeling shouldn't start for another 5 days. Are my feet going to peel to the bone? I am such an idiot.

shock is there an advice line number on the packaging?

DandyHighwayman Sun 25-Jan-15 22:32:40

When you say serious raw patches; do ye mean blisters?

No not blisters, yet anyway. Just really raw on ankle bone and tops of feet.

Well at least OP only put it on her feet!

Sorry OP but there was a thread on bleaching arseholes with toothpaste shock

I think you should see your GP.

Yep, you were supposed to put Vaseline on those bits. Eek! Not sure what to suggest confused

AfroPuffs Mon 26-Jan-15 01:34:55

Vaseline has nowt to do with it, you only put it on if you want to minimise peeling of certain areas.

Issue is the hours your poor feet have been sitting in lactic acid. Reckon you need to keep your feet as dry as in no washing them, creaming for weeks.

Is there a number on the box?

I think you may have a chemical burn, first aid for which is to hold under running water for at least ten minutes. You need to make sure you get all the acid off them, for starters. Then keep a close eye on them, checking every few hours, and respond if they look like they're getting worse i.e. call 111 or your GP.

Whereisegg Mon 26-Jan-15 07:22:47

How are you this morning op?
I'd very seriously consider a visit to the gp, and pharmacist at the very least.

minibmw2010 Mon 26-Jan-15 09:44:30

How did you do that ?!?! shock I struggle just staying in place with my feet still for an hour, let alone overnight (unhelpful question I know). I think you should prob try to see your Dr, you will probably be taking off far more than just dead heel skin.

dexter73 Mon 26-Jan-15 10:14:17

You could ring 101 for some advice.Sounds painfulsad

dexter73 Mon 26-Jan-15 10:15:08

FFs ring 111! I doubt ringing the police would be of much help!blush

I've done this before and I was fine! Sore feet for a while but had really good shedding after a few days!!

lottiesatitagain Mon 26-Jan-15 22:25:08

OP here. Thanks for all the replies. I have sudacream on the sore parts. It doesn't seem any worse or better. Hippychickster I am so relieved some else did it and was fine.
