I've got some vouchers for Xmas and I want to treat myself to one of the Benefit blushers/highlighters.
I have olive skin that can look sallow in winter.
I have had Dallas before but I've no idea if they still sell it.
Any recommendations?

Rockateur (rose gold), Coralista (coral), and Sugarbomb (peachy warm pink) are all really nice - I'm almost certainly paler than you but have yellow undertones and they all work on me. Rockateur in particular is my default go-to blush these days.

I got Dandelion for Christmas and I really like it. I am cool skin-tone and I like the pinkiness which you can sweep over or build for a stronger colour.

I love Hoola.

I picked up a Benefit set at Christmas called Cheeky Sweet Spot. It has 6 almost full size blushers (Dandelion, Hoola, Coralista, Rockateur, Bella Bamba and Sugar Bomb). You also get a sample of their Watts Up highlighter and a wee brush.

They might still have it in the big stores?

I'm not crazy about Benefit for blusher tbh. They're fine but nothing special.

I wear dandelion in the daytime and sugar bomb for going out, I am very pale. They will try to sell you stuff but benefit staff are normally really helpful smile

I don't really rate the powders. No staying power. Colours are ok.

Really recommend the benetint in cha cha. It might work well on olive skin. I don't know about the rosier one for you. I smudge a little on each cheekbone and rub it in and it peps me up no end. It's the only blusher product I need.

For nights out when I might use a powder just to faff a but I stick with my Dior ones, despite having loads of dandelion and perfect10 powders left. I quite like the highlighter in perfect 10 for eyes.

Come to think if it perfect 10 is a bronzer with highlighter- don't know if they still do it but that's worth a try given your colouring.

I like dandelion.

Dallas for me in winter with hooks in summer. I like the ones with no "sparkle"

turdfairynomore Fri 09-Jan-15 19:39:53

Hoola!! Stupid phone!!

ihatethecold Fri 09-Jan-15 19:40:46

Thanks everyone.
I have tried a sample of benetint a few years ago.
I did like it.
I do like a touch of bronzer as long as it's not orangey.

ihatethecold Fri 09-Jan-15 19:41:23

So they still sell Dallas then?
That's good.

mowglik Fri 09-Jan-15 21:11:43

I love dandelion for all over - i have olive skin so its not really a blusher for me unless its in the daytime

Rockateur or Coralista for me. My sister is olive skinned and she loves Coralista.

I love Benefit blusher. I have had three Rockateurs...all of which DS has ruined hmm

I came to sat Dallas but I see you've had that already. They definitely still do it smile

AmberNectarine Sat 10-Jan-15 13:47:25

This has really annoyed me because it reminds me of the Georgia blusher I used to love that they discontinued!

Trills Sat 10-Jan-15 13:49:38

I like the posietint (the pinker liquid blusher).

ihatethecold Sat 10-Jan-15 15:48:49

My Dallas is long gone!

DidoTheDodo Sat 10-Jan-15 15:49:04

I use rockateur and really like it.

TallulahBetty Sat 10-Jan-15 16:39:00

Oh Amber I loved Georgia too sad

Annietheacrobat Sat 10-Jan-15 16:45:13

Hoopla here

RojaGato Sat 10-Jan-15 17:51:02

Coralista. Good for olive skin.

They now do a coral version of benetint too, it's called cha cha tint. Again, great for olive skins.

ihatethecold Sat 10-Jan-15 18:42:36

Think I need a visit to a counter.
I really hate it when they start approaching me though.

RojaGato Sun 11-Jan-15 00:43:08

One in John Lewis here is good for just asking you if you need any help but leaving you alone to browse if you say "I'm just having a look". I think they are maybe told to tone in down by John might be worth trying a John Lewis one if you don't want the hard sell.

ihatethecold Sun 11-Jan-15 07:11:25

I do have a john Lewis nearby.
I could look in there, then spend my voucher in boots! wink
