Er on the side of caution at this early stage. Wool trousers. Though make sure you won't be too warm.

Yes, an induction day should be similar to what you would normally wear for the job, but you'll want to go smarter for the first couple of days anyway just to make sure. Boden bistro are ideal for all eventualities!

Definitely not jeans, unless you are working in a warehouse or similar.

I always air on the side of caution and go smart. First impressions and all that.

I'm actually starting a new job a week on Monday, the office is smart casual but I will be sticking to smart for a while until I'm settled in. I believe it makes you look more professional when people are still forming opinions and first impressions of you.
