My lovely SIL has just given me a £30 gift card for MAC.

I haven't got anything in particular in mind so I would be interested in any ideas about what to get.

I have Mac foundation, which I really like, and next on my list is the prep and prime- I have had a small sample, and I loved it. If those don't appeal, then two new lipsticks! Mac is my favourite.

The Pro Longwear Paint Pots or Pigment pots are great eye colours. I think you might get a lot of use out of an eye palette like this this

I really like their eyeshadow in Shale, a sort of greyish mauve.

I love the lipstick, blush, powder and studio fix fluid foundation.

YY to the prep and prime.

Their eyeshadows and lipsticks are great too, and the ladies who work there really seem to know their stuff about colours that will suit you in our local place.

i'd buy two lipsticks or eyeliners, they really do last.

ooh like the look of shale will add that to my shopping list grin

Many MAC shops do a consultation, and then you can buy products for the value of the consultation (I think £25 or so) after. So you can tell them what you like and get advice.

Their lip liners are fantastic. I use them as a base, rather than just to line.

Strobe cream - I always get asked what I'm wearing when I use this over my foundation to highlight cheekbones etc..a little goes a really long way too.

Mineralise skinfinish powder- put it on over your foundation, it matifies and sets your makeup and makes your skin very glowy.

The 217 eyeshadow blending brush - best eye brush I have ever used.
