Combination skin, 51 years old

Micellar water
Clinique mild clarifying lotion #1
Clinique smart serum
Clinique moisture surge

Alpha H balancing cleanser
Alpha H Liquid Gold every other night on its own
AD Skin Synergy oil on alternate nights to Liquid Gold

It has taken quite a while to find a routine that helps with combination skin, the clarifying lotion and liquid gold have really made a difference to my skin.

My skin care routine is awful...watching intently brew

BowiesJumper Sat 03-Jan-15 11:51:31

Im 34 and have dry skin.

AM- La Roche Posay - physiological micellar solution
followed by aveeno moisturising cream (sinks in well for makeup).

PM- La Roche Posey - physiological cleansing milk. (Gets rid of make up really well and is gentle).
La Roche Posey - soothing toner
Followed by la Roche posay cicaplast baume (or just aveeno in summer if I'm not too dry).

And I use savlon on any spots (hormonal)!

51, slightly dry skin, bit of eczema between my eyebrows on occasion.

Lancome Gentle cleanser and toner.
Neal's Yard Frankinsense Rejuvenating cream (this is the one thing I swear by).

PM Estée Lauder Gentle Eye Make up remover.
More Lancome Cleanser.
Neal's Yard frankincense oil topped with more rejuvenating cream.

Weekly or so Liz Earle Brightening Face Mask.

Occasionally I use original Nivea in the blue pot overnight if I have been out in the wind a lot.

happyfeet1 Sat 03-Jan-15 13:51:39

28 with dry skin (that was a bit oily on t-zone before bfconfused).

AM - No7 oil cleanser. Going to get a water based one that I can sweep over my face with a cotton pad for the mornings as this is a faff. Then No7 Protect and Perfect serum, P&P day cream, Clinique Super City block spf 40.

PM - No7 oil cleanser, P&P serum, P&P night cream.

I also use No7 exfoliator twice a week and a Lush face mask after it. Sudocrem on any spots which are pretty rare as skin in goid condition atm.

It's only a basic routine but I have 3 dd's, youngest only 5 months and I'm a single parent so it has to be do able in a couple of minutes as soon as they all wake in the morning before we get dressed. It also means that I should be able to keep it up when I return to work from mat leave.

Whatwouldyoubuy Sat 03-Jan-15 17:07:03

I feel you on the single parent malarky. My twins have turned 4 now and I'm only just getting on top of my skin again

chanie44 Sat 03-Jan-15 18:27:36

Morning - splash of water, serum, moisturiser.

Evening - face wash, serum moisturiser.

All with the body shop aloe range. My skin is prone to spots so I try to do as little as I can to my skin.

applecatchers36 Sat 03-Jan-15 18:41:04

Bioderma atoderm pp ultra thick foaming gel
Vichy liftactiv serum 10/Estée Lauder advanced night recovery/ Boots P&P serum depending on finances
weleda almond soothing facial cream

Bioderma sensibio micellular water

Vichy or other serum
Weleda almond soothing facial cream

BigPawsBrown Sat 03-Jan-15 18:44:18

I am 29 with combination skin (very oily t-zone and very dry chin and cheeks - annoying).

Morning: just wash with warm water, pat dry and use la roche posay moisturiser and GOSH primer before make up.

Night: usually Bioderma micellar water, but currently the body shop camomile cleansing balm but it's a bit drying (strange as cleansing balms are usually so rich and buttery), then Kiehls Midnight Recovery Concentrate patted onto skin, which has made the biggest difference of any product I've used. smile

Khalessi Sat 03-Jan-15 18:46:10

Bumpetybumps Sat 03-Jan-15 19:29:51

34 - mad skin can get dry but has v bad acne in 20s

Chantecaille rose water

Simple foaming wash
Simple moisturiser
Ren eye cream

The rose water is my big luxury but I definitely notice the difference when I run out. Amazing stuff.

LillyJames86 Sat 03-Jan-15 19:53:21

I am 29 with combination skin

If I am staying home all day then I just swipe Bioderma Sensibio H2o over my face and apply suncream and eye cream
If I am going out and applying makeup, I wash my face with A-Derma foaming gel
La Roche-Posay Anti-Shine suncream all over face and neck
Nuxe eye cream

Ponds Cold cream to remove eye makeup
Bioderma Sensibio to remove all other makeup
Either A-derma foaming gel or Chanel gel purete face wash
Pure super active overnight oil
Nuxe eye cream

Twice a week I use Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish (as a facial massage for 30 minutes)
and twice a week I use a face mask - either Boscia Luminizing Black Mask, Sanctuary Spa 5 Minute Mask or Avene Cleanance Mask. I always follow the Mask with Avene Moisture Mask which I leave on all night and wash of in the morning.

Throughout the day I spray Avene facial water on my face.

I have a few different face washes because the condition of my skin does change throughout the month and I found that one type of face wash does not always suit my skin type everyday.

pussinboots61 Sat 03-Jan-15 20:02:39

I'm 37 with combination t-zone but as I get older, more itchy, dry patches around mouth and chin and eyes.

Usually REN Rosa Centifolia Cleasing Water or La Roche-Posay Micellar Water
La Roche-Posay Hydraphase UV Riche on dry patches and Rosaliac UV Riche (anti-redness moisturiser) (am planning to go back to using Effaclar Duo as I think it suits me better).
Dermalogica Ultra Smoothing Eye Serum
Bobbi Brown BB Cream

REN Rosa Centifolia Hot Cloth Cleanser
Talika Gentle Eye Cleanser to remove eye make-up

I got REN Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial for Christmas so am going to start using that 1-2 times a week.
I really need a regular night cream - used to use REN Frankincense Night Cream or Omega 3 Night Repair Serum but not regularly.

If I am going to be wearing make up - Superdrug Vitamin E Day Cream

If I've been wearing make up I use Superdrug Vitamin E Eye Make Up Remover first
