Definitely not worth it - I bought a Mint Velvet jumper for £70 back in August. Only ever washed it on a delicate wool wash, low spin, but it's gone thin, baggy and generally looks tatty now.

Is it the light pinkish one with the cowl neck? I have that one, it's fine not the best quality but keeps its shape and worth £60 I'd say. I pay more for better quality though so it's a trade off

I bought a MV cashmere jumper in the sale last year. Reduced from £180 to £100, very dissappointed, very thin, baggy and has piled. I've had much better quality for less from m&s, although the MV one is more stylish.

Glad I didn't buy a coat from them. Almost got sucked in by the sale but thought it felt a bit 'new look' material.

The quality is inconsistent. Some of my favourite things are from mv but I've had some real disappointments too.

I have a grey one with a big star on the back from this year that's washed quite well.Uniqlo are definitely best for well priced merino as they last/wash really well.

not knitwear sorry, but a bought a leather bag costing £150. only lasted about 2 months of everyday use til it was falling apart and generally looking very shabby sad

Or, half price at The White Co and you can often find a code somewhere to get free shipping:

YW smile
I do would have to be the dearest, wouldn't it!?
There is a gorgeous Jigsaw one - I love but, alas, funds will not allow - but as you were considering splashing out sixty quid on MV I thought I'd point it out to you (it's £98). It's cashmere and beautiful!! It is my birthday soon and I am eagerly watching for a further reduction!

Not sure of your size but if it doesn't absolutely have to be merino Hobbs has some nice reduce knitwear and cashmere... Egs here:

Another merino:
