Fitness gear advice please!

I'm generally a fairly fit ordinary looking size 12 but from seeing other women at the gym I'm clearly lacking in style and feel quite frumpy! I tend to wear tops from races I've done (freebies!) which are usually very big and baggy. I wear shorts or black leggings which do the job but thought I'd treat myself to some capris and vests for the new classes Ive started.
The trouble is im not sure where to shop. I don't want anything super tight or cropped as I've had two kids and am 37 not 19!
But I see lots of women who look functional but stylish in the gym which I certainly do not!!! Just not sure where to start. Any advice welcome....thanks

TK Maxx have a good range of gym wear. I get compliments on the items I have from there.

I wear (Google for best price) nike relay crops which are flattering, come in different patterns and have drawstring to keep them up
That and long nike vest tops

I was also going to suggest Tk MAXX, but H&M also do a good range in great colours.

I like H&M- particularly their base layers. Tkmaxx often has good pieces but you have to be prepared to hunt through the rails usually.
Primark has a surprisingly good range and I occasionally come across a bargain at the Nike Outlet store too.

I get most big my stuff from Sports Direct, most of it is Karrimor and very reasonably priced. Our local store always has a huge selection of stock (al be it it's rammed full and not the best laid out!).

nearly all my stuff is from aldi and lidl. Once you work out the sizing, I find them good value, they wash well and I don't feel guilty replacing them when they aren't too expensive.

H&M and lidl/Aldi for basics, sweaty betty, Adidas and Saucony (latter two from sweatshop.co.uk usually) for nicer styles and more interesting prints.

Oh, and shock absorber run bra is the ONLY one I wear for sports now, love it.

I have some karrimore from sports direct too, find the sizing quite small. Also have some from sainsburys which is nice. I'm coveting some stuff in the boden sale too but it's still too expensive imo.

Agree with H&M/sports direct.

I have Nike cropped leggings from SD, Lonsdale sports bras and then usually fluorescent racer back tops from Nike.

The karrimoor long sleeve tops are fab for running in the cold too, and are usually 2 for £18 in SD

Kate Hudson has just brought out a range of workout wear you can get online called Fabletics, you can create a profile based on your shape, colours you like, bits your comfortable showing off and they suggest outfits. Only had a brief look and haven't bought anything there yet but from what I hear it's pretty good value for money. Definitely worth a glance I think.

Fabletics seems a bit of a con from what I saw! You get your first outfit for about £25, but then they send you a new one every 5 weeks.
If you don't send it back within a certain time, you have to pay for it and they work out about £75 a time!

Sweaty Betty stuff is lovely, also have a look at Lululemon - very flattering bottoms. I buy good stuff because it lasts for years.
