What to wear with this dress?

I bought this dress online thinking the background colour was black-it's actually navy. I need to wear it for a night out tomorrow, going out for drinks then a club, I'm the eldest in the group of mixed friends at 40-how the heck do I wear it?
Don't want to look middle-aged but also not "mutton".

Personally I'd wear opaque tights but then my legs aren't my best feature
