Sale work dresses

I'm going back to work in February after my second round of mat leave. I'd like to pick up some work dresses in the sale. I'm a size 14 and an hour glass shape so I tend to wear V necks and wrap styles (though I still need something forgiving on my tummy at the moment). Anyone fancy being my personal shopper?

Hoping to spend about £40-50 in the sale but could be tempted by something more. I bought my first sale Hobbs dress 2 years ago and it did serve me well before I got pregnant.

Thanks!

Have a look at Cos.

Thanks. That's not somewhere I would usually look. I quite often buy jersey dresses from Phase Eight but it would be good to get something a bit more interesting.

Thanks - great plains looks good too. Will have to resist buying non work stuff though!

Also have a look at & Other Stories for inexpensive dresses that are pretty good, and Jaeger Outlet store, they have some v good bargains at the moment and the quality is outstanding IME.

Thank you! Seen a nice skirt on the Jaeger site. I'm always a bit hesistant to go dry clean only though when I don't know what damage DD (and DS) will do before work!

DH has gone out to meet a friend and I'm sitting with port, credit card and the laptop Grin - I'm hoping I will be using the Great Plains free returns!

I pretty much ignore dry clean only instructions. I've washed my Jaeger smart pencil skirts (not wool), and silk dresses on 30 degree cycles and they're fine. I don't really believe in dry cleaning Wink

I sling most of my Damsel in a dress stuff in the machine - lots of it says it is machine washable too

Jaegar is lovely stuff, Cos more fashion forward. I find Great Plains sleeves come up v tight on my upper arms, which is a shame as I love their stuff (same stable as French Connection - remember them?!)
