What do you wear to the gym

or pretend to wear to the gym when actually you have been to the shops and watched tv?

I need new gym pants/trousers/leggings. I want them to be thick, not see through, suck the fat and cellulite it, stop my tummy from wobbling (I think Im after a miracle it seems) and be comfortable.

Any suggestions?

I like Sweaty Betty. They tell you which ones are opaque. Comfortable, wash and wear well. Can be pricey, but they have a sale on now.

I like Running Bare (Australian brand, I think). A pair of 3/4 leggings, matching sports bra and singlet in a contrasting colour.

It's not cheap, though.

Nike epic running tights with the wide waist band really hold my tummy in well . You can get full length and three quarter length ones. £ though.

And a racer back vest and sports bra. Or a t-shirt and sports bra.

I cannot stand Lorna Jane (not sure if her evil empire has made it to the UK yet). I have lululemon tights which are fab but thought id shop around.
I think Ill be hitting the Sweaty Betty site after Christmas. Ill look at Nike. Cant do Running Bare. Barely covers my arse so I would run bare.

I normally wear capri length tights, two singlet (one for tummy suction and one to cover my arse) and two bras to keep the GG cup girls under control and so that I dont end up with two black eyes.

The owner of Lululemon isn't any less contemptible than Lorna Jane, though - at least she hasn't come out and stated that her customers are too fat to be wearing her tights. Her stuff is a bit too matchy matchy for me though.

My winning combo is Nike epic running tights (FAB) and Gap tops - they do really good sweat-wicking vest tops and t-shirts that are reasonable when they do 30-40% off.

Depends what I'm doing.

Snug track pants for yoga / leggings for pump / capri pants for spin. And different tops for various classes, something thin for a hard class, something warmer for yoga than doesn't flop over my head in downward dog. Usually wear leggings and tight stretchy t-shirt for gym equipment.

All TK Maxx, sport direct or H&M.

Ooh I see what I did. I meant there are those women who wear gym clothes all day due to comfort not because they actually step foot in a gym.
Ok time to leave MN for a few days. Life stress is making me edgy and over reacting and I think I need yo clear my head.

I mainly wear my gap leggings, and a t-shirt or vest from gap. I have couple of nike/adidas ones but the gap are the most comfy. Also have a pair of karrimor running tights that I wear to run in, and sometimes to the gym if the others are in the wash.

I wear primark support leggings as I have a big butt and they sort of act like a bum bra?
I've tried proper running tights but they're not supportive enough.
I wear them with a dry fit vest or t shirt and running (or wrestling) shorts.
Or I wear a BJJ Gi but i don't think you want that.

For a budget alternative Sainsburys have a reasonable range of gym wear in sizes up to 22 - I usually wait till they have a 25% offer or sometimes find things in their sale rail

As I try to go to the gym every weekday on my way home from work - need plenty of changes

I have recently bought a pair of Nike Filament Capri Running Tights. They have a gusset lining built into them. What is the purpose of the gusset lining? Does it mean they are designed to be worn without underwear?
