What colour cardi with a navy dress?

I have few smart summer dresses and they are all navy Hmm
I am hoping to maybe pick up a cardi in the sales to wear on cooler days ( sleeveless dresses) but what colour?
I was thinking of camel or grey. I am fair skinned and have fair slightly strawberry blonde hair.
I don't want white or a harsh colour like red/ orange.

I know they say it should never be seen but I like navy and green. It doesn't have to be bright and I think there's a shade to suit most colourings.

Brown would be nice

I think navy works with most colours, I personally like it with jewel colours such as jade or deep red.

Cream, camel, burgundy, grey, pewter, red or cerise.

I don't suit bright colours- am too pale.
Don't suit red though a deep cherry is okay.

I came on to say a sort of red - either cherry or an orangey red.

Silver and blue could be nice. Sparkly?

Or a slightly different shade of blue

Or white and blue

I have a bright/lime green cropped cardigan from LK Bennett that I wear with my navy shift dress in the spring / summer . It goes well and often prompts favourable comment . I am a similar colouring to you !

What about an apple green. Should suit your fair colouring and is nice and fresh without being too bright.

What shoes would you wear? I'd either go for coral or camel I think.

Big fan of navy and mustard.

I'm a similar colouring and wear navy with pale grey.

Mustard could work well

Or a brighter blue? Or sea side blue

Thanks for all suggestions.
I don't get on with green; the only greens I suit are blue-greens, look awful in lime or any yellow toned grees, I am a 'cool' colour palette. look as if I am dying in mustard.

Like the idea of grey, a paler blue ( have that already in a cardi) camel and possibly cream or deep red.

Pale pink and navy are god together....although I may be biased as I. Wearing a navy and pale pink dress just now!

Well I was going to suggest mustard yellow as that is what I wear with mine and it looks fab, but I see you've already ruled that out!

Light mauve or lilac/lavender, especially if you can get a yarn with variation in it.

Cream, camel or mustard would give an expensive and chic look.

For an edgier look, I like black and navy together.

Aquamarine, coral, silver grey, bright light purple and fresh green all are great colours for those with Spring colouring.

A bright orange, no hints of terracotta. Or a mustardy yellow perhaps.
