Today is the day that I finally get to buy some new make up.
My DF got me some lovely Dior make up last year but this has now sadly run out.
There is no way I can afford it so best bargains please ?
Powder
Lipliner
Primer
Eyeliner
Mascara
Eyebrow pencil

Thanks lots in advance!
I'm so excited I've been waiting so long to buy some!
My eyes will no longer be pee holes in the snow!!!

Not pencil, but the Sleek eyebrow tinted wax is great. Not super cheap, but much cheaper than the Benefit it is a copy of and lasts about 18 months, so per use very cost effective.

Mascara- most Maybelline is pretty good.

Mua concealer is great, not on your list but I'm thinking if that's good their other products may be too, people rave about the mascara. Also boots no 7 I find always good, usually three for two too. Or bourjois excellent

Bourjois is generally pretty good quality for most things. Maybelline is good for liner and mascara.

Buy some Lanacane anti chafing gel to use as primer (Google it if you're skeptical Grin). It's the same ingredients of Smashbox primer which is expensive. I use it every day and it's brilliant. About 6 quid for a huge tube. Hopefully others will back me up on this as I know a few on here use it as primer too.

I use Boots 17 translucent loose powder. Rimmel concealer and liquid eyeliner.

The MUA range is great for eyeshadows (sorry can't remember if you asked for eyeshadow. I'm on the app so can't see your op). I have the brown palette which is a rip off of the Urban Decay 'Naked' palette and it's brilliant.

Also agree with PP about the Sleek eyebrow thing. It's a rip off of Benefit 'brow zings' which I have used, but it's less than half the price and just as good. Lasts months too and loads better than any pencil I've tried.

Also I think the trick with picking a mascara is knowing what kind of brush works best for you. I can't get on with big brushes and they make my eyelashes look shit. I prefer a thinner brush with bristles that are more spaced out. I usually use Loreal Million Lash mascara but it's about 11 quid so I had a look at the brushes in the cheaper ranges and got a decent one from Rimmel for around a fiver.

Loads of brands have got 3 for 2 on makeup in Boots at the moment. Also make sure you put your advantage card in one of the machines and check the offers as I often get something like 'free eyeliner with any two items purchased from Boots 17' for example.

I use Superdrugs 2true liquid eyeliner. It's £1.99 and lasts ages and doesn't run like I've found with more expensive brands. As for mascara I love Maybelline Great Lash mascara it's a pink bottle with a green lid and is £3.99 on ASOS otherwise £5 or £6 in shops. For powder I love Max Factor creme puff the price varies from £3-£5 depending where you buy it gives a lovely coverage

Max factor ad l oreal have freebies I'm a box when you spend £15 or more. I think no 7 has an offer on but I don't know the spend threshold. The l oreal and max factor both have a red loopy and mascara in.

Bourjois healthy balance powder is good
Rimmel liquid eyeliner is great
MUA good for blusher, bronzer and eye shadow
Maybelline mascara and smudgy eyeliner pencil that lasts forever.
Sleek does nice eyeshadow and blusher too.

Lipliner definitely Rimmel 1001 kisses. It does actually last and has lots of different shades.

You will not believe this because it is so so cheap, but the Boots Natural Collection waterproof mascara is amazing. I needed really really cheap mascara because I am probe to eye infections and needed to be able to throw it away and start again at the first sign of trouble, and didn't want to do that with a £15 mascara. Tried this one, recommended by someone else on here, and it is amazing. Doesn't smudge or flake at all. And normally I don't like waterproof mascara as it seems so harsh and hard to remove, but this stuff stays put when you want it to and then comes off again when you want it to. Its about £2.

Bourjois comes out of the same factory as either Chanel or Dior, not quite sure which - and is as good as either.

Mua eyebrow pencil is brilliant, I like the little comb thing on the end. They also do a really nice highlighter and cream blush.
I like revlon liquid liner that comes in a pen thingy or even cheaper collection 2000 there concealer is really good as well.
Boots natural collection have some really good lipgloss.
Seventeen mascara is good I get a one called dolled up its in a black tube with a red lid.
Boujouis mascara has always been great and I love their blusher.
Rimmel wake me up foundation is the best match to my skin tone ever.
Maybellines bb cream is also a favourite.
I never user primer, powder or lipliner so can't comment.

I'm not massively on a budget but I always go back to these items as opposed to their more expensive counterparts:

Sleek eyeshadow- the storm palate; best eye shadows in terms of colour; density and staying power

Collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer for liquid or if you want more of a putty texture no17 phwoar paint

Rinmel scandal eyes black eyeliner

Maybelline gel eyeliner- the one with the rubber nib which is a dupe of the benefit liner but a quarter of the price

One item I will buy again not cheap but does what it says and has lasted 2yrs so far- urban decay eye primer. It lasts a 13hr shift

Bourjois healthy mix foundation

Rimmel especially wake me up foundation and scandal-eyes mascara. All of it is passably good
