This

It's not clear whether the fur and hood detatch as one or whether one can still have the hood but lose the fur ... I like a scarf.

Never come across the brand - anyone?

Is it really that bad? Or have I just successfully started and killed a thread in one hit? grin

Bluegill Fri 12-Dec-14 23:09:55

It's a bit dull fblush

Bluegill Fri 12-Dec-14 23:10:26

I'm not inspired bit it's late.

Fairylea Fri 12-Dec-14 23:17:58

I wouldn't pay that much for that style. Fat face had similar for much less than that. I'd also look at h and m and asos.

I love it. Very stylish but it would have to be down filled at that price.

Thanks for your opinions ladies .... I never thought that finding a coat would prove such a headache!

Meh. Nowt special. You could do better for that money.

MrsMcGregor Sat 13-Dec-14 20:09:53

<wry smile> ... the problem is that I can't find anything special. So many of them are 'meh' ... have just gone through John Lewis' entire stock again and can see nothing that stands out.

MrsMcGregor Sat 13-Dec-14 20:21:09

special fgrin

DHandhisJollyCarolingfoot Sat 13-Dec-14 20:23:16

Primark actually do a similar but much nicer one. grin

Davinaaddict Sat 13-Dec-14 20:57:01

I quite like it. I got a similar one from Monsoon a couple years ago, so that could be another place to try if you like that style?

MrsMcGregor Sat 13-Dec-14 21:00:51

Thanks ... will check out your suggestions.

Meantime, what about this one?

smugmumofboys Sat 13-Dec-14 21:04:30

I'm not usually an S&B poster but I would question the fact that it's got a fur trim and not a faux fur trim.

A lot of fashion fur trims are from dogs and are produced in the grimmest and most barbaric manner. For that reason alone, I would say no.

Fairylea Sat 13-Dec-14 21:04:59

This one is similar but a bit cheaper and I know they are really warm as I have a shorter one from the same place and it's very toasty.... www.fatface.com/jackets/florence-long-puffer/invt/81542

Davinaaddict Sat 13-Dec-14 21:47:12

I like that one - more flattering, I think, which isn't always easy for warm winter coats.

MrsMcGregor Sat 13-Dec-14 22:09:09

Which one Davina ... am confusing myself with so many links!

burnishedsilver Sat 13-Dec-14 22:12:54

I like the first one best.

Davinaaddict Sun 14-Dec-14 08:09:28

Sorry - the last one fsmile
