Go ahead and shoot me, but I need some ankle high black boots for work, to go under trousers. I'm useless at heels and am on my feet all day. Have ordered a couple of good old Clarks but they're not very comfy.

Any other suggestions please? No heels. The comfier the better. I'm not quite ready for Cotton Traders yet though grin

Fitflops boots are simply heavenly! As a teacher with a chronic foot problem, I wear them all year round ........... sandals, low boots, clogs etc.

How high is no heel? I have these Footglove M&S and they are very comfortable. I have ankle problems and these are the highest I would go.

Ecco boots, had mine for 2 years, worn them constantly and they still polish up like new, and really comfy.

M&S your best bet, I reckon:

I have some ankle boots from George and they are the comfiest boots I have ever had! Bought them on ebay for 99p, the leather is so soft too.

Wow thank you all! bestiswest those look good, I'll see if I can find a discount code.

I think I mean low/ mid heel rather than flat. I've always in the past had those low wedge heeled boots. Not too many blingy zips. Lordy I'm boring.

mrspeacock I like those a lot but they're a tad rock chick for my job grin

I have these. I don't 'do' heels either but these are incredibly comfortable. I have the caramel colour but I'm fancying the petrol too. Don't think they're particularly 'mum' like either - apart from the fact that I'm a mum and wear them wink.
