Down-filled coats aplenty everywhere, but need knee-length!

I have been looking and looking for a down-filled hooded coat, which are seemingly everywhere, but nowhere seems to have a knee-length one. I wear a lot of tunic-dresses, and with shorter coats they always poke out the bottom and look rubbish! What does everyone else do about this problem? I like the Aigle Cuckmere but am pretty sure it will reach mid-thigh (although they never state the length so it is impossible to be sure!).

I thought it was worth a try to ask on here and see if anyone knew of one. Need black or dark blue, and not too puffa-ish. I am 5"11' so only really proper knee-length will do. I have looked at the

Have you looked on ebay? There are a few of different lengths on there. New not used

Uniqlo? Rolls into a bag. Knee length on me but I am 5'7" but my tall friend ordered a longer one.
It has a hood but is not desperately glamourous. Lots of colours too. I have a couple of gilets from there as well. Wash nicely and so very warm.

North Face do some fairly long ones: www.thenorthface.ie/tnf-ie-en/p104047.html

Seasalt do really long coats. Mine isn't down filled, but they may have one that is.
I saw some snug long down coats in m&s the other day, don't think they're quite as long as the aforementioned Seasalt coats, but worth a look.

The Aigle Cuckmere is knee length and I'm 5ft 7. It's a fab coat - you won't regret buying it.

I think Zara had some (check online). Not too ££ either.

Just seen that you are 5ft 11. I'm about a size 10 - not sure of your size but if bigger, maybe bigger sizes come up slightly longer??

Saw several longer ones on Lands End site (when I was looking for a mid-thigh one!)

Landsend do a range of long down coats here

I have never bought from them for myself, but DH and DDs all have Lands End coats and they are very warm/great quality.

Thanks, ladies. I am frantically looking up all these suggestions and keep coming back to the Aigle. There's also a www.trespass.com/womens-ladna-00774 but without lengths given it is such a load of guesswork! I might have to take the risk...

oh by the way I wear tunic dresses almost every day for work in the winter, which is why I went for that coat. It covers them easily.

I'm obsessed with this site //www.clotholondon.co.uk where you can exchange your old stuff and get new outfits.

I found this down jacket that costs just £6.75 if you give them your old items!

My cuckmere is knee length on me but I am only 5"5. Can you get to a shop to try on? I love mine.

I've got a trespass short length down coat and I wouldn't buy trespass again.

I know all styles will be different but the fabric behind the zipper doesn't cover the zipper so I can't wear it unless I have a high neck jumper or a scarf under it as it scratches my neck badly.

Is there nowhere you can buy the Aigle with free delivery and returns? I got mine from John Lewis but it was last year.

I have just bought that trespass ladna one, I'm 5'10" and it's most definitely knee length. The fabric behind the zip on mine does go up to the top, so it doesn't have the same issue a PP's does. I got mine for £65 from debenhams a few weeks back
