What can I do within 10 days to improve my body?

I have a very hot date coming up and have bought some nice lingerie. Is there anything I can do in the next 10 days to look better. I don't particularly want to lose weight but need to lose my bloated belly, improve my skin, reduce cellulite etc. Any miracle workers out there?

Drink lots of water.

Go for lots of long walks outside.

Do a body scrub/ face mask/ hair condition if you have stuff for it around.

Start the 30 day shred. Great for toning up quickly.

Drink 2-3ltrs of water a day, lots of green leafy veg, no carbs, minimal fruit, face mask, hair mask and sleep!

Bathing in Epsom salts is supposed to be good at reducing water bloat, I bought some from Amazon weeks ago but keep forgetting to use them.

Daily body brushing tones and smooths the skin, fake tan and a good moisturiser all help a bit too.

A friend of mine once went for a massage where they pummel your stomach and intestines to ummmm, unclog your system. Much pooing ensued over the next couple of days.

Kind of like a colonic irrigation without the indignity of having a hose up your bum.

Yes yes to 30 day shred.
Lots of water.
Cut out all junk and snacking.
3 sensible high protein / low carb meals per day.
Use an exfoliator and moisturise.
You have the good underwear.

Good luck!!

Ooh exciting! I'd really recommend tracy anderson's mat workout - it's about an hour and kind of sucks everything in, makes you stand up straighter. If you did it each day for ten days I guarantee you'd feel more confident. It's a bit wierd - looks dead easy but is actually rock hard and makes wierd bits of you ache and hurt. You can get it on YouTube, just make sure it's the mat workout you do, there are loads of other ones on there.

Yes yes to lots of water, body brushing (twice a day) and loads of body moisturiser.

I hope he's prepping himself too grin

Let us know how you're doing

MrsCampbellBlack Mon 24-Nov-14 09:37:56

I would low carb, do a few fast days, wax and fake tan!

Slap on loads of body scrubs and lotions too.

But honestly, I doubt he'll look at your stomach and pretty sure most men don't even know what cellulite is!

Have fun!

Ps about the shred - I've done that too, thought it would really help and it did nothing. I felt stronger and really pleased that I'd done it, but in terms of body changes I was disappointed. From what you've said -don't need to lose weight, just a bit bloated and cellulitey, you sound a lot like me! I know shredding really works for a lot of people but tracy has far more effect on my body. Shame cos it takes double the time!!

cellulite is beauty-babble for 'normal skin texture' and there's no treatment or cure because it is normal.

to improve a body, feed it properly and move it around.

and guessing that as you've bought the lacy knickers, you are planning to reveal the body - so be assured he WILL NOT CARE.

Twinklestein Mon 24-Nov-14 11:34:16

Not much in 10 days.

I don't agree specialsubject. I don't have any cellulite and while I think it's partly genetic, ime you can get rid of cellulite by cutting out all junk food, processed food, additives, coffee, alcohol etc...

squoosh Mon 24-Nov-14 11:39:20

I agree with MrsCampbellBlack, most men wouldn't have a scooby what cellulite was. However if it bothers you, the most effective treatment is soft lighting!

Enjoy your hot date.

CleanLinesSharpEdges Mon 24-Nov-14 11:42:16

Dr Perricone's 3 day diet. Makes your skin look amazing and gets rid of bloatedness.

duckwalk Mon 24-Nov-14 11:47:10

Advice as above, place marking though to see how your date goes! Good luck!!! grin

Twinklestein Mon 24-Nov-14 12:08:41

I've never met a man who didn't know precisely what cellulite was.

squoosh Mon 24-Nov-14 12:09:24

Good for you.

specialsubject Mon 24-Nov-14 12:11:56

if your cure for cellulite worked, twinkle no-one would have it.

define 'additives' by the way, and do tell how you eat like this without growing all your own food. And I mean 'ALL'.

alfieandanniesmum Mon 24-Nov-14 12:16:31

It's 12 days but I've just done this detox off the back of Anna doing it - she lost a stone and I lost 9 pounds. Here: Chris James Detox.

Amrapaali Mon 24-Nov-14 12:17:02

And if he does care about cellulite, rejoice. You can weed him out very early on in the dating game without wasting your time. grin

Facial oils for skin texture. I found a difference in 3 days. Agree with low carb. Or just eat wheatever you want, only smaller portions. Makes for a happy existence all round.

MrsCampbellBlack Mon 24-Nov-14 13:08:06

I've never discussed with a man my cellulite. Is this some new type of foreplay?

TarkaTheOtter Mon 24-Nov-14 13:13:29

I find avoiding bread can help with the bloating even though I wouldn't say I'm gluten/wheat intolerant.

SofaCanary Mon 24-Nov-14 13:16:22

They notice a dimpled bum but most won't care, unless he's a trophy hunter in which case he won't bother with anyone over the age of 25 anyway grin

santamarianovella Mon 24-Nov-14 13:41:32

Im sure you look good as you are, and he asked you out because he likes what he sees not what can be improved , so relax, cut out alcohol ,try to sleep well, wax, scrub and moisturise, and you will be a knockout,
Drinking loads of water won't do you any good, if you are drinking enough, then drinking more wont make any difference to your skin at all, it will leave you so bloated, and peeing constantly,

pantsjustpants Mon 24-Nov-14 14:12:57

I saw a nutritionist last year and I have a diet plan for a week only, that's for stripping basically. Feel free to pm me if you'd like it.

Otherwise 2-3l of water a day, no sugar of any kind and 30 day shred plus plank.
