go to pilates, work on your core strength which will in turn help/make you walk taller, sit straighter etc

Slow down, nothing very graceful about being flustered and in a rush.

Yes, go to pilates. My posture is much better since I started. I find myself remembering to stand up straight during the day and look better as a result.

I once served a woman in a very posh area and I can only assume she was titled. Everything about her was elegance and grace. It was all very understated. she glided across the room.

You don't have to be posh to have elegance. Or titled.

or tall

agree with understated. i don't like patterns myself because I'm not tall perhaps. I love colour but not patterns.

Sit straight.
Watch your posture.

Don't raise your voice.

And don't wear anything too tight.

Only ever buy and wear clothes that make you feel great. If you feel uncomfortable it usually shows.

Chamade, I agree, you don't have to be posh or titled. I was just making an observation of this lady. She may well have had neither a title or pot to piss in. There was something about her that made stop and stare.

Two good books for you:

The Star Qualities - Caroline Goyder
The New Rules of Posture - Mary Bond

Both very readable and so much good advice. Can highly recommend.

Iron your clothes - stand up straight , pull your tummy in and wear colours/styles that suit you. Avoid ditzy prints, even if you are flustered speak calmly.

Always make sure clothes are clean, and you look presentable.
Moisturise hands, keep nails short and square and always clean.
Clean shoes
Walk tall, shoulders back, boobs out, tummy in.
Always say please and thank you.
smile
