What season do you think I could be?

I have pale skin with pink undertones, dark brown hair (my natural colour), green eyes with flecks of gold.

I look better in white than cream, navy rather than black. Bluish reds and deep pinks look good.

Silver jewellery looks all wrong, gold is much better.

Well I am confused. Was all set to say you must be a summer or winter based on the white vs cream issue but if gold suits better than silver then that contradicts the white argument..,

Also blueish reds would suggest summer or winter too

Cream definitely looks sickly on me.

As for the gold/silver thing, a friend gave me a gift voucher for a jewellers, but when I went in it was all silver. Even the two sales assistants agreed that the silver looked dreadful and I had to give the voucher to another friend.

There is a possibility that you could be between seasons but I'm no expert in that area I'm afraid

Your skin and colours suggest summer.

I'm a summer and don't think I look great in either gold or silver.

Don't worry too much about your season. I wear black, coral, warm reds (all things I shouldn't) and don't look too dreadful in them. The difference of wearing the right colours can be subtle.

I'm not too hung up on it, just curious I suppose. I would love to have that 'Wow' moment that I've read about here when you see a colour that makes you look amazing Grin

I think the easiest way to DIY is to get a kettlewell catalogue, go to a department store when it's quiet, and pick some of the "only suits one season" colours by comparing catalogue to clothing options. See which one suits you best.

I'd guess summer tbh, esp if you like blue. I don't think gold/silver is conclusive and everything else fits. Summer is a bit weird (I say this as one) as a season, hard to diagnose and then bloody confusing to shop for!

You sound like you have my colouring and I am a summer. I really think HOC is worth doing though, then you know for sure.

Thanks everyone, so interesting that you think Summer, I had always assumed Summers would be blond for some reason! Looking at the palette that does ring true though. I will investigate further!

Well, I've read up on summers and bizarely almost all of my clothes are in 'summer colours', my house is decorated in them and my car is a Summer colour too (I went to great lengths to get a car in this colour!)

Raspberry is about as 'Wow' a colour as I have ever worn, it really brings my face to life.

TBH, I always took the whole colours thing with a pinch of salt. Because of my hair/eye colour I sort of assumed that I would be an Autumn, and I hate those colours. Seems I should be eating some humble pie Grin

Thanks everyone for your suggestions Flowers
