Find my ideal party shoes?

Hello, MZ here.

Got the usual run of two Christmas nights out coming up, have snagged a lovely dress from Phase Eight, now just need shoes.

I remember my favourite shoes of all time, they were heeled black leather sandals with two criss crossing straps at the front with square silver 'buckles' on them. The front of the sandals had a slight platform, the heels were slightly square. They were about three inches high in total but comfy to wear. They had a solid, quality feel to them.

Anyway, that was yonks ago. So now, where can I find a similar shoe? Must be black, must be leather, have high heels of the solid as opposed to pointy variety (but not wedges please) and ideally a small platform to the front but that bit is negotiable if they are good quality and built to be comfy.

Sandal or court shape. Think I prefer a sandal.

Money no object as I hardly ever buy shoes and when I do, I want it to be an investment. Any ideas greatly appreciated!

Very interesting! Thanks tethers. Thinking of a smaller platform though? I'm 43, not sure I can rock such a high platform.
