How can I get the pale creamy look a la Nigella Lawson.

I have dark hair and pale skin a la Nigella, and I find Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse foundation to be perfect for her look. As long as you get the right colour for your skin, it's almost impossible to apply it badly (unless you trowel it on), it gives good coverage and there's no need for powder, which I think looks cakey.

I like YSL's Fusion Ink foundation - light texture but good coverage. I am too pale for Mac's range and I wear BR20. Counters will give you a sample to try out.

I agree re YSL foundation , gives me perfect porcelain skin. Best ever foundation ! Also use shade BR20.
