Please tell me they're really good!! Confused

I ended up getting the Amber and gingerlily one, which of course was more expensive, too Blush

Why? Homebase do excellent scented candles.

Don't worry if it's only a one off
Enjoy it Smile

Candles is another thing I don't get, like handbags, I think. I can't imagine spending £50 on something you set fire to. I know I'm probably missing the point.

I used to buy Diptique candles when living in Oz, & loved them.

DD has one she got it as a gift, came in a very lovely ott box unfortunately she not allowed to light it again as I find the smell lovely but so over powering

I don't think I could ever bring myself to burn it at that price! Anyway you have bought it now so enjoy it! Btw it's not really an investment as it will be gone soon.

Work out the per hour burn cost. I have an amouage candle that was originally AUD250 but I bought it on sale for $50. It has a burn time of 50 hours so $1 an hour.

Did anyone even remotely imply candles are an investment? They are a luxurious pleasure.

I spend an obscene amount on a candle but its a luminara and its fantastic and will last forever...well until the batteries run out! Check this out:

not sure if you can buy scented ones.

I don't get it neither,
you can get them for a few quid on the high street and they smell lovely.
All sorts of different brands and scents.
That amount would feed my family for a week Xmas Shock

Well my luminara cost me £24 and i thought that was a lot. Still if its a one off and you can afford it what the hell!!
