Okay, so my hair is coloured, probably over coloured! I dye it a medium to dark brown. It's quite dry at the ends and just looks dull. it's about shoulder length. My usual serum, (boots own heat protection one) which I apply to damp hair just before blow drying isn't working as well anymore. Neither is their heat protection spray for when I straighten my hair, which isn't often.

I have tried over the years other serums & oils but none have been as good as the boots one. That loreal extra ordinary oil, that just made my hair really frizzy. Lee Stafford stuff doesn't really do anything, tried doing the coconut thing, no results there. I've also tried shwarzkopf got2b oil-licious oil, again left my hair more frizzy looking!

Ideally i'm after a serum that I can apply before blow drying & after. Also a good heat protection spray for straightening. Something that'll make it look shiny too! I can't really afford to spend £££!

check out the equys (sp) range that is made for horses... don't laugh, it was recommended on here and I tried it and wow hair has never been stronger smoother and shinier! I buy from horse health and use the mega trex to promote growth, the conditioner and a serum after, it keeps my dry frizzy ends looking human again.

I'm not great with hair products but have been using the Garnier Ultimate Blends Sleek Restore stuff for a couple of months.
The shampoo, conditioner & oil. I can use the oil before and/or after washing and drying.
I use dove protect+ heat protection spray before I straighten it.
