Queen, could you repost the link to your bag? I have looked back but I can't find it.

And we gallop through to number five!

Ive got a wedding next month and need help. I'm a size 14, sultry winter and natural romantic. I'm on a budget so looking at Lindy Bop but avoiding the polyester.
midnight blue
and this green
I suspect it's a bit too much of an apple green and not sure if this is a bit too rusty coloured

Any suggestions from the three above or other recommendations? The Audrey's are too high on my neck and I'm not keen on the boobs bursting out dresses.

I love the greens forsale but I'm a novice when it comes to colours so I'll let someone who know chip in. Out of curiosity what are you going to wear over the top ? I think I avoid dresses as I always feel the need for a top/jacket/cardigan which spoils the look a little. I probably just need to be braver. And have more toned arms....

It's for a wedding so I'd wrap a pashmina over my shoulders

I would go for a darker green like this one or the midnight blue dress.

Maybe a romantic winter could wear this dress? Or add romance by choosing bows, frills etc in your cardigan/jacket.

Just found a message that Boden has 25% off until Thursday - so some of those recommendations from Thread 4 are in my basket!

Jumper
Jumper 2
Jumper 3
Then added this skirt, and this top and finally this dress in red
WHOOPS! £££!

Before I hit buy - what do you all think? Plus how do they come up size-wise?

Buy them all now as these are selling out fast and remember you get free returns.

Re sizes - check out the reviews.

The pewter bag is still £111.75 with 25% off. It's just too much espeically with a trip to Bicester planned for next Friday. Having said that, the reviews are mixed so perhaps it's just as well!

Thanks MissScatterbrain - I rarely internet shop, but I've just spent a large amount of money scarily easily! It could become addictive.

I know Boden makes online shopping easy but I am pretty ruthless when it comes to deciding what to keep and to return.

I find Boden true to size.
ForSale I linked a green dress from & Other Stories in the previous thread which I think would be good for a winter wedding. But I really like the midnight blue you linked too - sorry on phone so can't link.
I wore my Hush Rosie dress in damson and navy for the first time yesterday. Colours are great but the skirt is very thin, I tried it with woollen tights first but really needed leggings.

forsale, love both the green and navy, but I think I'd edge to navy.

bright I'm terrible at Boden grown up clothes, so won't comment: everything I've tried from there just hasn't worked on me. I've realised I have to be very careful with some clothes: I can really suck out the cool from clothes if I'm not careful!

Popped to local outlet village today (son needed new school shoes. Again). Tried a couple of Whistles dresses, but they looked terrible on me. Popped into Radley and they had quite a few Grosvenors in (though not your gorgeous navy, QueenC). Think I know what I'll be getting for my birthday/Xmas now!

When I got home told H and mentioned they also now have an Asics store, so being an Asics addict, he's now keen to pop along...

Just ordered this from HoF. Not sure if it will work but I saw a friend wearing long denim shirt with black leggings & it looked lovely. Easy to wear +/- vest, scarf etc.
Not a winter colour but hoping it looks nice.

Calvin Klein so I'm hoping it's nicely made. Wee treat for me, normally I'm Asda, Tesco, Next shopper for everyday stuff.

carrie I would have been annoyed if they'd had my bag there cheaper!

For someone who asked for another link to it, it's here

Gorgeous QueenC. Is the hardware silver too? Think the ones at Street were gold (and they only had brown and black, I think, DS didn't let me look for longer than 10 seconds!).

Report
QueenCardigan · 10/11/2014 14:09

It's not silver carrie which would be my preference but it's not gold either. It's kind of bronze-y iyswim but it looks fine.

Hello - part 5 already!

The Boden discount is very tempting. I have bought charcoal jumper and pink skirt to try.

I love this blazer in pink.

That bag is nice sorel though reviews are mixed.

Not sure what to wear today - something cosy, its freezing!

I've got on jeans, navy blouse, emerald cardi (love my new purchase-perfect colour!) and silver converse. Will use stone bag as it's the most practical shape for what I'm doing today.

Today I'm wearing black wide leg jeans, black vest top and red cashmere cardi. I had black ankle boots on earlier, but have now swapped those for some toasty red falke slipper boots.
