Would this outfit be ok for a trip up and back down the Thames for our Christmas party?

Do the trouser legs look too wide? I'm 5 8" and would wear heels and a size 8 although no boobs, do you think I'm going to look like a stick?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Tbh, you might risk being mistaken for a waitress. I think I'd avoid the white top / black trousers combo.

The general idea is fine but I agree about the waitress problem. The width of the trews is also fine (I'd probably go a little wider for evening TBH) but they look like they're thin jersey Confused

this?

Isn't it likely to be cold? Am I being dim?

Not convinced by that outfit, sorry, although in theory it should be fine. Black trousers are too worky in my book, and the 'black trousers and a nice top' idea (unless jeans) reminds me of my mum and her friends. It feels a bit dated to me for that reason.

Mrs that one is lovely! much better than my initial search, thank you.

Remus ha ha ha yes you are more than probably right. I'm hopeless at these things. I wear coast dresses to work, very safe and I sometimes catch a glimpse of myself and think mumsie Hmm

The boat is inside for the main party, I have been before and it's not cold under deck.

What about this one?

The navy dress is a bit weddingy, I think. Something like this? Maybe?

mrs you are really good at this Thanks

I really like your first link although it's a bit over budget but not undo able.

Can I now be a complete pain and see if you can help me find something in HOF along the same line? It's only because I have a bonus bond card that I can use in there and it makes me feel like I'm not spending money on myself Smile
