Yes it's a Vi Spring. Fantastic.

Chocolou Thu 30-Oct-14 19:18:40

Yup. Vi spring here to. ££££ but so worth it. Back pain eliminated.

Love my bed.

mypinkmonkey Thu 30-Oct-14 19:19:07

Yes Vi Spring here too. Very comfortable.

Pancakeflipper Thu 30-Oct-14 19:26:42

mooching around as realised my mattress is now 10 yrs old and my back is achy in the morning.

Yes most def! Vispring here too.. Ours was ££££ but we have a cheaper vispring in the spare room and that one always gets positive comments as well.

Also have a silent night in other room and that one is also very comfy, it has an extra topper like thing Sewn onto it..

LackingCommonSense Thu 30-Oct-14 19:51:56

We have a silent night memory foam and it's amazing smile

Olivo Thu 30-Oct-14 19:53:45

No, but I can definitely NOt recommend it! It is one with a memory foam top layer. It is comfortable but hot and sweaty. So much so that we have moved it onto the spare bed.

I can't wait till we can afford a normal sprung one again.

Yes tempur

OverAndAbove Thu 30-Oct-14 21:30:46

Yes, we love ours. It's the firmest one we could find, with just a plain washable topper. I really hate memory foam; as above it's hot and sweaty and just feels icky. Same goes for pillows - like them firm

LadyRubyPenhaligon Thu 30-Oct-14 21:36:42

Yes. Vi spring here too. Love it.

To wear? No

John Lewis essentials here £100 for a king size. Not sure if it was just because my last one was so old but had this a year now and it's really comfortable. Was brought as a temporary measure as didn't have £500+ to spend on a mattress at the time so this had good reviews and brought it as preferable to sleeping on poking out springs. We like it and haven't replaced it yet.

RunningOutOfIdeas Thu 30-Oct-14 21:42:47

Tempur - love it.

The first night after we bought it I was hot and thought we had made a mistake. Then I realised that I should only have a sheet over the mattress. I put an anti-allergy mattress protector on first (like a thick sheet) thinking it would protect my expensive mattress, but it reduced the air flow making the bed too hot.

Greengardenpixie Thu 30-Oct-14 22:18:23

Ours is a memory foam. Its fantastic!! No issues with springs! smile

ggirl Thu 30-Oct-14 22:19:13

Thanks. Sorry I know it's not s&b ...but knew I'd get answer on here.
Vi sprung Is that a brand ? Off to google it

BobsTaintedLeftLeg Thu 30-Oct-14 22:34:31

I have a silent night pocket sprung with memory foam layer.

I also have another memory foam topper on top too.

I like it, but as I've just said in another thread, it's higher than my old one, comes up to just below my bottom when I stand next to it, and I keep forgetting the floor is further away than I think it is.

suze28 Thu 30-Oct-14 22:39:03

Vi Spring here too. Wouldn't go for anything else.

skaen Thu 30-Oct-14 22:49:45

Mattress no, but memory foam topper from JL. DH had a bad accident last year and spent a month in hospital, when he was let out, he came back to our normal spring mattress and started getting bed doers within 24 hours. I ordered the topper on emergency delivery - DH is much happier and I love it - it's like sleeping on a cloud...

Google John Ryan by Design. They basically do matresses v similar to vi spring but about a third of the price. They are very open about the differences between their beds and vi spring and loads and loads of general info about matresses. Brilliant.

Couldn't afford a vi spring but have been really pleased with the Sealy posturepaedic mattress I bought 6 years ago. So comfortable.
