Can we talk about eyebrows and eyebrow pencils please?

My eyebrows have become very sparse at the inner (nose) end and I'm having to bulk them up a bit. Tried eyeshadow at first but it wasn't doing the job so bought an eyebrow pencil and brush from Shavata (sp?) in HoF when I was having them threaded. I am sure I probably go out with lopsided eyebrows every morning - any tips please? Also, pencil recommendations - this one is disappearing at a rate of knots as I keep it sharpened!

Thanks

Best eyebrow pencil I've found is ybf, you'll find it in UK on qvcUK.com. its a twisty up one so no waste, and the colour depends on the pressure you apply it with.

Will check that out Catseyes, thank you. And have just discovered another eyebrow thread which I missed earlier Grin

I like the mac one, also twisty so no wastage!

I used to use Mac and really loved it, I've now switched to SMASHBOX as it gives a fuller brow and I like the wand brush to even it out and avoid lopsided ness.

I used mac for years but found the quality to be poor recently. the point kept snapping and at the price I don't expect this. Switched to the Sleek makeup twist up pencil available on Amazon/big Tescos/Superdrug. I love it and it's half the price of MAC.

Rimmel Hazel here, the brush on top is handy

I have very sparse brows, they peter out somewhere above the middle of my eye so I have to draw the ends on. The best pencil ive tried, and I've tried a lot, is the ybf one recommended by a pp. You get it from QVC & it does look very natural. Another one is the Doll10 Airless Brow Fix, also from QVC. it's not a pencil, it's a small pot of creak colour with a slanted brush, I often use the two of these together but they're each great on their own.

I use this Bobbi Brown stuff and it's great. Takes seconds, unruly brows are groomed

I third the rim meal one, I use dark brown and it goes on smoothly, lasts all day and looks natural.

Soap & Glory do a great eyebrow pencil called Arch de Triumphe. It has a highlighter at one end too.

My eyebrows are sparse at the outer third. You just use light strokes & therefore avoid the "drawn on" look.

I've got the soap and glory one. It's like a fine felt tip on one end and a wind out smooth pencil on the other. Absolutely love it and it's now in my essentials kit!!

I use a Clinique eyebrow pencil that twists up.
Have bought it over and over again
Never found one that's as good.

Another vote for rimmel dark brown. Looks very natural and not reddish.

I use a kit from ELF. It has an angled brush with which you apply the colour then a softer brush for powder.

Oooh catseyes10 I have the ybf eyebrow pencils too. I was a bit dubious at how it was meant to suit all colours but it does and it's far more natural than the Boots one I had.

I used to use a Laura Gellor pen but it ran out and I was searching for something new.

I have the Benefit Gimme Brow but it takes more effort to get it right.

I used to favour the MAC one but it does come out quite heavy. My absolute favourite, but very pricey, is the Kevin Aucoyn one from Space NK. It's very hard so you can draw on quite natural hair like strokes.

I've not tried the Rimmel one. I may check that out as I have found that I now prefer their liquid liner to many high end brands, and I've tried my fair share!

I have a little kit from Sleek that has two creamy/waxy colours and two brushes (one angled one more rounded) for application.

The new L'loreal brow plumper wand thing is great. Good blonde match for me and lasts all day. £6.99

I use the mac brow set - great for thickening and then I fill in at the edge with mac brow marker. I've found these much better than pencils which tend to just rub off for me.

Rimmel one in Hazel - never found anything better.
