Hi! It's my first S&B post, but I've heard across MN that this is the place to come to find out my likely bra sizes (unlike in M&S!).

So, my band measurement is 33 inches and my bending over measurement is 43 inches.

I'm in the middle of losing baby weight, and I want to treat myself to a bra that fits and flatters!

Thank you in advance. :-)

Your measurements would suggest a starting point of a 32GG, 32H, 34GG or 34G. Most people tend to get on with the band size that's rounded down unless they are very slender so I'd say the 32 is more likely. What are you wearing just now?

I'm ashamed to say nothing like that!

I was measured at 38F in pregnancy and haven't bought any new bras since then (yes, bad I know!).

And no, they really don't fit.

I shall head off to the shops tomorrow and let you know how I get on.

Thank you!

Good luck!

Thanks!

I'm beginning to suspect I've been wearing the wrong sized bra my entire life. :-/

If your previous fittings ever involved M&S...probably! grin

Don't worry, you are definitely not alone.

They did!

I'm rather excited about a properly-fitting bra...small things. :-)

Update: after buying loads online as the idea of shopping with a 16 month and a 3 month old doesn't fill me with joy, I have only not tried 34G, which I think is the one!

A 32 band was too small and a 34GG had too much spare cup.

I shall now buy some Gs to confirm! :-)

Thanks again for your help.

Yep. 34G it is. Lovely stuff. :-)
