Ok, I've been reading up on this, and curiosity has got the better of me, so here are my stats:
35" under my bust
44" when I lean over.
I'm currently in a 38c, is this right?

No. In no way right!

Try a 34g for starters, but also sizes round that.

Try a 34G/GG and a 36FF/G for starters.

How does your 38C feel/fit? If you scoop whilst wearing it have you got overspill? Does the central gore sit flat? Is the band parallel to the floor? How far can you pull the band from your body?

The band feels very tight tbh, the bit in the middle never sits flat, and bits of boob escape out of the bottom of the cup (and the top)

The band will be feeling tight because the cups are much too small - try it on back to front to see how the band feels in isolation

Gore not sitting flat and lots of escaping boob suggests you are in a bra several cups too small, so the sizes suggested don't sound crazy from the description.

Boob wouldn't be able to get out the bottom if the band size was right.

Used to wear (well still am really) a 36/38E

33 under, and 41 round the boobs when I lean over.
I make that a 32/34 F, is that right?

Could I have some help please! I followed the measuring thing I found on another page. I was wearing a Primark (sorry but sooo comfy) 36D but had slight front spill. The measurements had me at a 34F! DP bless him bought me a tshirt wonder bra in 34E, it's really tight and I have severe armpit and top boobs now. I can't believe I could be an F.

I don't look all titty unless I have a padded one on and I'm quite tall and slim.

Stupidhead, if you have armpit and top boobs you probably need at least another two cup sizes, so I would try a FF and G. What were your measurements?

Was that a leaning, braless measure for the overbust? The overbust also shouldn't be pulled tight, only the underbust.

So your measurememnts would suggest 32E/F or 34E/DD. HOwever, it sounds like you are someone who needs a bigger cup size than they measure - at least in the wonderbra, from your description I would say it's 2-3 cup sizes too small. One cup too small is actually pretty subtle - normally a bit of armpit pudge or a bit of a bump when you breathe in. So I would suggest in that bra trying a 34FF/G and a 32G/GG to start with. It's easier to spot a bra which is too big in the cups than too small sometimes. And remember to scoop

TBH, you might be better going to somewhere like Debenhams, John Lewis, House of Fraser etc and trying some better quality ones on. You'll notice a huge difference and get a more accurate idea of size. Watch out for the Debenhams Gorgeous range, it runs small in the band and sometimes the cup
