Cheap perfume that you enjoyed?

I've noticed you MN-ers have very expensive taste in perfume. I just blind bought madonnas 'truth or dare' for under a tenner, and...I like it!

It's strong stuff!

So I thought I'd ask.. What bargains have you discovered in the world of smellies?

I adore Gap's So Pink, have used it for years as my after bath spray. I also put it on when banging around town. I usually get compliments every time I wear it.

The Lidl one (can't remember the name) - about £3 & a ringer for Coco Mademoiselle.

Next do a Nuit Noir one for under a tenner that is like Jo Malone limited edition Amber & Gingerlily.

White musk Body Shop

I'm sure I used to use white musk when I was a teenager, I'd probably keel over with nostalgia if I wore it again! Loved it.

It's an after bath spray that I'm talking about, cat witch. I want to go to bed fragrant, and wake up still smelling the scent.

I do get disapointed by perfumes without longevity.

I'm logging these suggestions and very pleased to have some suggestions.

I tried Elizabeth Taylor 'white diamonds' (again, under a tenner) and liked it a lot..for wearing in my bedroom. I think I might have scared people if I'd worn it out and about. But I enjoyed the wafting intensity.

Byblos Cielo is about a tenner from eBay and is similar to Angel.

I also like Yves Rocher perfumes, current fave is the neroli.

M&S Isis perfume is a good copy of Issey Miyake L'eau d'Issey for under a tenner.

Embarrassed to say but "gold diggar" £5 for 100ml eau de parfume is my everyday perfume. Smells like lady millionaire. Not that I'm a great fan of that but I ain't using Chanel everyday!

I bought the Lidl Suddenly Diamonds last week. £3.99 and quite pleasant.
Also like the Pink one from Next.

And you lot got me onto the good copies of posh stuff from perfume parlour on eBay, I'm very happy with the ones I got from there.

I also use several expensive ones but they're the budget ones I like.

Zara do some lovely cheap perfume.

The Rose one apparently smells like Dior J'Adore. Although I just bought it because it smells nice.

I was a poor single mum with expensive taste...anyway, I found in my local indoor market a guy selling cheap makeup and stuff. I know it's probably all full of lead and rats tails. Anyway, he sold 'smells like' perfumes. They're around £2 and they are fantastic! They last longer than the originals, spray better and you get more. Jean Yves perfumes if you can google! TuTu was like Coco, French Look like Rive Gauche etc. The boyo would get the aftershaves and they were spot on.

The pink Zara one in the long rectangular bottle is lovely - and less than a tenner.

Eau Jeune Senteurs Fraiches, Choc by Pierre Cardin... both from a French supermarket.

You can get some seriously cheap good quality perfumes from All Beauty - Cabochard, Cabotine, Halston, Je Reviens, all for around £10.

A body spray rather than a perfume, but I used to love Zen by Impulse. Sadly it was discontinued many years ago and I've never found anything similar Sad

Zen! I used to use that!

Not cheap exactly, but SJP Lovely is a great dupe for Narsisco Rodriguez. I have a huuuge bottle my mum got me for Xmas. Thanks mum!

I love Yves Rocher perfumes. They often have offers on -for example I bought the Tendre Jasmin perfume for a pound. The Neroli is also very highly rated at Fragantica.Personally i love the Lilac and Lily Of the Valley perfumes.I spray them on my pillow at night and on my clothes during the day.

I second AllBeauty, I have bought lovely perfumes cheaply recently by Van Cleef and Arpels and Oscar De La Renta for between £10-15.

SJP's Lovely. My bottle ran out this morning, I felt a bit sad.

And then remembered it only costs about £15 to replace.
