I have ordered an ETI turbo hairdryer because I can't afford a parlux

Please can someone come and tell me that they're great? My sister has had two Parlux's and then an ETI and said she found the ETI far better.

Am I deluded? Am I destined to spend every morning drying my hair but inwardly weeping at the ansence of a Parlux?

Surely a hair dryer just dries hair, how good can a hair drying device actually be beyond the drying part?

I've had some horrors in the past that just turn my hair to a big ball of unsightly frizz.

Just had a look the princely one is prettier and emits negative ions, I reckon you will really miss the negative ions

I have an ETI as used by my hairdresser and find it great. My friend has a really old ETI that is even better than mine.

Cereal not all hair dryers actually dry your hair effectively if it is at all thick - with some of the pathetic ones I've had in hotels I would've taken all day. I think it's also easier to style with a hotter dryer?

Cereal-obviously you have hair that behaves itself or you wouldn't be talking like that a good hair drier makes the world of difference.

OP-I've never used one,I have a parlux but I've heard good things about them

I love love love my ETI, I've had it about 6/7 years and it's going strong.

I bought it after using one in the gym, and my hair looked amazing after that.

I later noticed that my then-hairdresser also used an ETI. As does my current one.

Got one. It's great. You have made a good choice. I don't know about ions but it packs out about 5x the drying power of any domestic dryer I've had (be careful it does get quite hot). My thick frizzy wavy hair becomes properly smooth dried, hairdresser style, in half the time it used to take.

Okay, it pains me to admit this, so listen up : I recently bought a Parlux, and while it is great, it is not the life-changing awesomeness that I expected for the price.

So I think you have probably made a good choice.

I got a horse's mane in the great genetic lottery. Since I got my eti dryer a couple of months ago, my hair has been (for me) swishy and shiny. I love it.

I have an ETI and I find it works well, never had a Parlux though...... I think you will be happy with it.

Is an ITE hairdryer an IONISING hairdryer? I understand they help to get rid of frizz. However, I did buy one and found it was TOO HEAVY for me. Does anyone know whether it is possible to find an ionising hairdryer of a light weight? Thanks

Have just had a look at these ETI hair dryers on Amazon. Is it worth splashing out on the turbo 3500 at 51.99 or is the 2000 just as good at 39.99? I have sold my straighteners as they made my hair really dry and frizzy. Resolved to use a hair dryer only, but mine isn't much cop. Hoping this will be the answer to my prayers!!

I've got an ETI and, on the rare occasions I dry my hair, it's pretty good. I had one for years until I could smell burning and then replaced it with the same again.

I have the 2000 which is great. But I stayed at my friend's recently and she has the 3500 and it is excellent (but gets very hot). She has thick hair and it always looks fab.

If I were buying now I would go for the 3500.

If you have thick hair then the 3500 is especially worth it in my opinion.

I just came on here to start a thread about hair dryers and saw this. Since you all seem so knowledgable I hope you don't mind me tagging my question on. I have really fine straight hair that I struggle to get any body into. Would this hair dryer be good for me? Are there any others you'd recommend? Thanks!
