I bought this to put on a scar DS had. But now i am wondering whether i can use it on my face too?

And if i can, do i need to rinse it off?

Thanks.

I'm not sure, but why not try a drop in an inconspicuous place?

I'd think you wouldn't need to rinse off, it would absorb into the skin.

Personally, I made a facial oil from jojoba oil (2 parts), rosehip oil (1 part) and some argan oil (1 part), plus a few drops of lavender to scent it. Seems to work fine for me. Ingredients were initially a bit pricey, but it'll last for ages, so overall not too bad. Disclaimer: not qualified or anything, just trying stuff to suit the facial Roseacea I have, needs to be free of many of those nasty chemicals used in so many products.

I used wheat germ oil for my facial chicken pox scars. I just put it on at night and let it sink in overnight. It worked well.

Thanks. I think i'll give it a go as a night moisturiser then. I have some black heads round my nose and chin so don't want the oils to clog my pores any more than they are.

I'm fairly certain that you CAN, yes.

Back in the day my mum swore by breaking a vit e capsule and using on your face to help heal any scars. My dad got burnt on his face from the car and his face healed really well, no sign of any scars. Disclaimer - the burn was fairly superficial but looked bad at the time.

I often use wheatgerm oil as a moisturiser - I just massage it in and leave it.
