I know this has been done before and posters have got flamed but I'd really like some suggestions.

I'll go over the budget if its something I really like, but not wildly so.

I probably looking for more of a tote style rather than clutch.
Thanks.

Are you looking for an everyday bag?

The mulberry tillie hobo looks nice in the oxblood. I have a medium lily in navy which I'm very happy with after going off mulberry for some time.

I also have a chloe marcie which is a bit over that budget - its a lovely bag but pretty heavy.

Everyday I think.

I have the small Lily in oxblood so I've been using that for dressier occasions, love the colour.

I'll have a look at the tillie one now, thanks.

How about the Tessie hobo in oxblood, it's an amazing colour for AW14. Smile

It's quite a bit over but I love my Dior Le Trente tote.

The mulberry tessie hobo is quite nice, I found most of the bigger mulberrys to be a bit too office wear like.

MrsCampbellBlack which type of marcie do you have? I really like them but finding it hard to decide between the hobo or the satchel style.

No wish to flame but £900 on a bag? Really? How long would you expect a £900 bag to last for? Would really like to know.

I have this one but slightly darker blue.

Suggest you have a good look in Anya Hindmarch and then wait for the sale (Jan!) Some great, classic long lasting totes.

MsHighwater to be fair I have never gone as low as 900 but the trick is to build up a lovely big collection of bags that will last a lifetime.

I expect my bags to last my life time and hopefully be passed on to someone when I'm dead, Chanels in particular

ChickenFajitaAndNachos · 22/08/2014 17:59

I would buy a mimi berry bag. I have had mulberry bags and the quality just isn't there any more, IMHO. I think you really are just paying for the name.
I love mimi bags, the leather is just gorgeous, the quality is fab and they are all made in the uk (something which drew me to mulberry originally)

I do think mulberry are getting back on track now they've realised the error of their ways.

Do you have a link to your bag boodles?

I also have a gorgeous little clip frame cross body purse in damson which I use when I only need phone and cash.

I use and love them all. And yes I am a bit addicted to them. I have already put in my Christmas wish list :)

Yay a bag thread Smile

This Tods one or a Gucci tote in the sales, or a Chloe.

Report
BlueberriesAndWine · 22/08/2014 23:10

I love the Gucci one!

That could definitely be a contender.

I don't really have a budget to be honest, I'm just trying to restrain myself.

I remember the bench thread Grin that's why I'm wary of even asking for suggestions.

Thanks for all the links so far Thanks

I've actually found a marcie that I like on matches

marcie

It seems a neutralish colour so it could be a goer. Also there is a taupe mulberry

bayswater

I welcome any other suggestions though Grin
