Bloody lovely slippers

Am in the market for a pair of lovely slippers that will bring joy into my life.

Do I go sheepskin or felt?

I want to pad about my home pretending I'm in a Scandinavian crime drama.

Really annoyed no one has answered this thread as I was shamelessly lurking for an answer too, OP.

If it helps, I've been wearing Ruby And Ed ballet slippers and they're OK, just quite flimsy and not brilliant quality. Comfy though.

I had a thread on this last winter and some lovely suggestions came up.
I'll see if I can find it - meanwhile look for Scandinavian slippers on Etsy.

I love my Ugg Scuffettes, they are really cosy and have a decent sole on them so I can pop out to the garden or car in them. I got them on ebay so they were a bit cheaper.

Ooh I like those fox. I'm definitely in the market for new slippers, as it's turned distinctly autumnal here, and my toes are cold in my Birkies. I also need a good sole for nipping out to the bins etc; I like a back on mine though (ever since I fell down stairs when my slipper slipped partway off my foot and I 'skied' down a full flight of stairs).

Homey's....the most comfortable slippers I have owned.

I bought a pair of these one year for a relative and the next year she asked me for another pair for her other house, so they must be good.

But if I win the lottery, oooo these for me!

Definitely sheepskin, the ones I had lasted for ages and were the comfiest slippers I've ever had. I actually bought mind at a local farmers' market but bought DH some lovely ones in TKMaxx for a not crazy price.

I bought some faux suede/faux sheepskin ones last winter from a company called Heavenly Feet. They've got a really solid sole, so i can pop outside without wrecking them, and are immensely comfortable. They're about 8 months old now and still holding up extremely well...I'll definitely be searching for another pair soon!

I am loving the ones at Celtic Sheepskin. I'm just waiting for my current sheepskin pair to wear out so that I have an excuse to buy some.

I've had just sheepskin ones for about 6 years now and I think I'll manage another winter out of them (I've been saying that for the last 3!!) They are amazing and I love them so much. Like a hug for the feet! So another vote for sheepskin from me!

just sheepskin slippers are lovely

however the best buy I had for slippers last year (am a committed slipper wearer) was a pair of fake uggs from primark, I only wear them at home (or to put the bins out, dead glam me) but with wool socks they were my absolute best buy at £3 a pair...

I have a pair of these, which I love, but also like the Primark fake uggs, which really keep your ankles warm in the most wonderful way.

I have sheepskin hush puppies slippers from t k maxx, love them, and ugg sheepskin flipflops for when it's warm. They have solved my quest for perfect slippers.

Another vote here for the house boots from Celtic Sheepskin. They are £115 which is frankly a ridiculous amount of money for a pair of slippers, but I got my DH to treat me and they are absolutely worth the money. I wear them every day around the house, they are super comfy, have a proper sole so you can pop outside in them no problem and you can bung them in the washer when they get too grubby and smelly. I've had them a couple of years and still loads of life left in them despite wearing them to death. I love my slippers :-)

I second Celtic Sheepskin, really lovely and cosy. They are not cheap, but it might be worth waiting for a discount code. I got mine using a code last September - it was 20 or 25% off (can't remember which!)

How about Mahabis? They're a bit Scandi! Plus interchangeable soles for outdoor use.

Ooh! Hadn't spotted lots of slipper enthusiasts had been on the thread!

I like these and also these.

Those Mahabis are nice, not sure I could be faffed with the detachable sole thing though.
