If it's a barn affair, then maybe there will be dancing. In which case I would suggest doing that to keep warm!

Or you may be lucky & there may be a fire pit that you can huddle round Grin

I'd recommend wearing something that you layer up without look like a homeless person.

For example, you could wear smart skinny/straight leg jeans (so a dark colour basically) with ballet flats (I know they are colder, but they just look smarter!). Then a nice top to go with it for when the sun is shining. But bring with you a woollen cardigan and pashmina that you can add when the temperature starts dropping, and also a winter coat for when it gets actually cold!

yes to jeans - its the idea of a wooly or warm top that is odd - all mine are so wintery

Skinnies sloppy style light jumper and boots I would add the party element with a nice big scarf and some big earrings too cold for anything else!

What noddy said. Dark skinnies, light coloured floaty knitted top with a vest underneath, and definitely heeled ankle boots. Lots of makeup and maybe a 'statement necklace'. Don't wear heeled shoes, it'll look try hard and you'll freeze.

And drink lots of wine, that'll keep you warm Wine

Or could you wear a dress with bare legs and ankle boots - grey suede Jalouse, that kind of thing? Ime if you've got warm feet, the rest of you will be fine.

I don't think you need woollies, even outside do you won't be cold in jeans and boots. Just wear a top you like and drink wine.

Assuming the party is fairly soon then you won't need any kind of jacket/cardy thing. And you will be far too hot in boots. Though I am from the north of Scotland where any temperature above 14 degrees is summer!
